    Hi
What happens if you click it on one notch on timer, does it do this for rinse as well as wash, it’s not anti flood as that will constantly run drain pump, heater failure or over heat stat failing will just cause m/c to constantly wash without moving on, does the dispenser open.

Also of note would be to put some mastic at rear of freezer section where evap pipe work and probe wiring goes in.

I only ever recommend a hot 90/95 degree wash with soda crystals every month or so depending on use.

What does m/c mega at from plug, could be motor breaking down, possibly due to brushes.

Syphon tubes possibly, remove the metal filter, just to the right and foward of the lower spray arm connection is a clearish plastic cap with one philips screw (non magnetic in it, remove this DO NOT drop screw you may not be able to retrieve it, remove the plastic u bend tubes and flush through with hot water, refit and keep fingers crossed 😉

Did you disconnect the wiring on door switch at anytime, because seems a rather odd thing for the door switch to do.

Re: Smeg DWI614 Buttons not working

    Hi

Did you get any joy with this fault as my mother in laws m/c is currently doing the same, i’ve stripped the board out and one of the connection to the board had sooting round it, metered at 1meg so snipped off and hard wired to the board.
There is some evidence of water entering and drying up on board leaving limescale deposit, cleaned as best as can and metered between joint to see if any shorts okay as far as can work out, all buttons are dead shorting when pressed so all good there, i’m 99.9999{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure it’s a board fault but,
    a) i can’t find somewhere that stocks the board
    b) loathed to repair if it’s going to do exactly the same in 6 months time, i’d rather get one of our products, which i know fairly inside out, and can easily obtain parts for.

    Cheers for replies

    Simon
