ParticipantAm I right in saying the analogic pressure switch is the “unusual” looking one with the cross on the top?
Come to that, until now I have never come across one of these – what exactly are they?
(is it pronounced anal-ogic perhaps :-)))

ParticipantI’ve got the Diagnostics Guide to the EWM2000 board. E34 would make sense re the diagnostics program but not the original fault.
Original fault is: the machine aborts every program after only 5 secs (with the pump running OK during this 5 secs)
Per the manual E34 takes 60 secs to register the fact that (and I quote!) –
“There is an incongruity between the water level measured by the analogic pressure switch and the mechanical pressure switch “anti-boil switch 2“ (incongruity for more then 60 sec)” (lovely language! Who writes this stuff! ) Presumably that means the 2 level switches are failing to register the same water level – meaning a split hose, a blocked hose, or a faulty switch. Am I right here?Unless I’m missing something, surely this would not stop the machine from even filling?
Could this just be a board fault?

ParticipantRe: Bosch d/w heater failures
Is this the one that develops a fault on the PCB and won’t heat?
Done loads of those by repairing the dry joint that develops where the heater relay solders on to the PCB (Bosch/BSH fit a whole new board, but this repair saves the customer well over 80 quid)

ParticipantRe: AEG Lavamat 74335 aborting pgm
There is no display for a fault code on this model – no LCD on the front panel.
