    just tried that and had some success moved the knobs about and ones that didnt work did and visa versa I have been told by the wife she took em all off to clean them last week .so i need to mess about a bit because the logic of all the same knobs doesnt apply

    ok i understand dont talk to me about bearings i spit on bearings they hold no fears to me i have fitted them when others fear to fit I shall move forward with vigour and determination and if the result is nor fiscaly viable a good covering of beef dripping will suffice

    just had a look no water but a slight dried scale stain on the floor . Ok is it something that i could sort

    it has a spin emblem on the front seperate to the dial that also has one but when i press the spin button nothing happens
    The washer does work i might add it was going this morning

    I have tried pulling the plug for 30 mins no go, The neon lights you mention are six in total 1st no light , 2nd rinse 3rd spin 4th pump out all lit up 5th end ,no light 6th lock lights, on hope that will help

    sorted i removed the water dispenser from the valve to the tray and found one small hole in the top bunged with gunge not really accessable without removing anyway this was the hole that filled the conditioner tray with water on the last wash . I t works fine now thanks all for the advise

    Thats great information thanks i put a multi across both solenoids and they both had continuity on ohms setting so i will take the whole dispenser out and check what you suggest

    thanks appreciate the help . I notice it has two valves were the mains water goes in .Is one for normal cycle and the other for the last conditioner cycle ,just like to know

    the softener is still in the dispenser after last cycle and there is no water if it is the valve as suggested were is it and how do i check it It is the same softener the current wife has been using sinse machine was new, she tells me.
