ParticipantRe: Hotpoint FDW70G SN709111927 – Sticking
I thought that but This has a sensor that clips from the pcb in the base into the sump and that seems all attached fine, it stayed on 19mins for about 5-10mins, then moved on and completed the cycle ok? strange

Ok mate thanks, i’ll go with that then.
Just in my own head How can it be a 6kg drum (which it states) for a 7kg machine? Bit of a fib on hotpoints behalf isnt it?OLLIE2806

ParticipantRe: CTD40G Tumble dryer element.
ive just seen a pic of the later element kit you mention Jim and it has 3 stats on it yet the machine in question has 2 (one of which is white, also i know cable coulours can change and its not alot to go by but there’s no white cable going into the connector block either on this old element).

ParticipantRe: Zanussi ZWD16270W Wierd Fault,
Thats defo the 10th position, Is there a way to clear it? and try it again? to see if it comes up with the same.
All the wiring and connections seem fine so is it likely to be the main board would you think?OLLIE2806
ParticipantRe: Zanussi ZWD16270W Wierd Fault,

ParticipantRe: Zanussi ZWD16270W Wierd Fault,
Thanks, do that shortly,
Just put it through a wash, Seems to have gone through ok but went to it and it was defo washing fine, water was hot etc, left it a while and went back when i expected it to be no too far off the end and was still rinsing with 1 min on the display, It did shortly after drain out and spin out for 5 mins or so then finished ok (but done all that displaying 1 min). Seems the timers all over the show,
I’ll be back with last fault code etc.
Thanks -
