Yes it was Tony, I always thought you were one of the larger family type businesses with a few engineers on the book, but as I said on the phone, it must have been Arrow I was thinking of.

On an unrelated subject Tony, if forums are your thing, check out http://www.prestonlancs.com/forum

It’s my site, but adverts are free to independents (even potential competitors, if I ever go back self employed 😆 ).

By advert I mean like your url in your profile, maybe your signature spelling out what you offer and a post in the announcement forum of the services you supply.

I rang NL about this vacancy and it was filled, unless I was Corgi. Not sure if they meant there was an aditional vacancy or if they would have made the successful candidate unsuccessful.

Oh well, I’m off to an interview now anyway.

Theres a test you can do on the rear module, you measure the resistance of two pins in the plugs that fit to the module, but because I’ve been out of the trade for over a year, I can’t remember which pins or what value of resistance, without actually looking at one.

This test just tells you if everything is OK behind the evap cover, if it is OK, you may be looking at the rear module.

Not so Kwatt, IIRC there is a law to prevent people milking other’s good work like the scum in this case, but it’s a lot of legal hassle.

Dig it, like I do/would. B&Bs @ £20 per night is not bad, but doing this for mutlipul years may take it’s toll.

what organisation ties their engineers up for 2 hours a day dragging them from their home area to a depot, to spend at least an hour trying to get engineers supplied with parts from a vastly understocked store and then send them back to their area to carry out 10 repairs

    with no overtime pay

another brainstorming idea from those sitting on the board

Er, Crazy Georges do just that, I had the chance of a job there but didn’t follow it up, I didn’t like the idea of having to travel to Warrington just to pick up my work.

Can anyone tell me a good place to pick one of these up in Preston or surrounding area? Connect is 5 quid deliver on top of the 13.75.

Check the 3 solonoids on the cold water inlet, there lies your problem.

I’m amazed how much money this ‘dome tent frame’ 😀 has raised, you guys have been great bidding on this item and thank’s to Kwatt for putting it on the front page. Well done to Littlepiggie for been a great sport too, she hasn’t done too bad, I waived the fee, as you guys know insurance on washers do not cover foreign objects, lol. 😆

Mine is a peogueot partner combi escapade 2003 model, it was good because it acted as a van when I was vanless.
