    few questions. where can i download the repairs@ form from ?
    and is there anybody in or near wolverhampton running a repairs shop
    who can pass on some jobs to help me get back into appliance repairs work pleasey?

    exactly like martin said, ball valves allways seam to stick on the expansion tanks on heating systems especialy during the summer months. make shure it aint seized up and see if the tank is empty. also try adding a chemical cleaner to the water to prevent boiler and pump noises traveling through the system. cant remember the name of the stuff i last used on a customers heating system but it does work. helps make the system last longer too

    its stored in a spare bedroom / office room
    worked fine during summer but come to winter and on number 2 on the stat it gets upto temp and cuts out. will only come back on by reajusting the stat.

    the car i brought recently was an ex reps car. well serviced and even has a installed car kit 😀 brill idea for receiving calls while on the move.

    I remember working in a BT phone exchange on a hot summers day hands were very sweaty and I kept getting shocks of everything I touched only 50v but with sweaty hands it was really peeing me off just glad nobody rang the lines I was working on or the voltage goes to 70v
    had a few shocks off outher things too but the BT one was just anoying 👿

    your best bet is contact the people who made it and get them to fax you a manual or section from manual of the arear you need to check, from experience last one i fixed burnt a wire off a heater. fairly easy repair but very thick wires bigger feeding pipe and drain pipe very well made pice of kit. ( if its a pub glass washer )

    i dident write last post just copied it off a website with some info. hope its usefull to some people 🙂
    just out of intrest would anybody think pat testing would be a good sideline for work when appliance repairs goes quiet for me ?
    i tried bt and telewest work but back to self employment now and need to find something to produce a regular income. still having no luck on the lottery 😳

    Documentation:

    Appliance Register, Fail Certificates (if applicable), Pass Certificates,
    Display Certificate

    Appliance Register – A complete register of all equipment tested on the premises
    Fail Certificates – Appliances that failed testing will be reported on red paper showing details of the reason for fail and recommendations
    Invoice
    Pass Certificates – Full details of all test results for appliance that passed testing
    Display Certificate – A Certificate for display in the staff room, notice board or reception to advise that the appliances on the premises have been tested for electrical safety.
