Don’t think anyone’s asked about an IW yet……
I think you’ll find that the diverter valve for re-recirculation is the problem. The machine has detected that it is losing water whilst re-circulating as the valve is not fully seated home. Likely faults are wiring problems, valve failure or possibly obstructed.
Power off if going in……..

ParticipantRe: Fisher Paykel Phase 2 size setting
That’s how you set the phase 4 + 5 boards….. 😀

Might be best if you PM’d the info through to Wiz.

Um, don’t think pump should cut out…… Check for overheat cut-out – if the pump drops out the machime will almost certainly fault.

Many Thanks 😀
Sorry, just keeping it all in one thread.

ParticipantRe: Miele G 646 SC PLUS – wash/drain cycle sticking
It sounds like a leak into the undertray of the machine – flood protection system cuts in and runs the drain pump. A wait of several days would allow enough of the water to evaporate to reset the flood protect.
So, drain undertray and find the leak. Power off, of course. If you are not confident, click the link below for pro help.

Yup, hose assembly. You have a choice of 2:
4812 530 28848 – 2 metre length – about £42
4812 530 28804 – 4 metre length – about £55Plus VAT etc……
Email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for confirmed pricing and ordering.

Dodgy OOB switches can do this. Faulty lids switches can do this. Excess suds can do this. “Hot Bowl Flag” can do this. To clear, enter diagnostics, then press Option.
That last is specific to GW series machines – don’t know what models you are dealing with.

ParticipantRe: Fisher Paykel Phase 2 size setting
This is very odd – phases 1-3 should set the size via the switches locating onto studs in the console moulding. There is no special procedure for the phase 2 board.
Assuming that the boards are located correctly, it’s just a matter of entering Option Adjustment – hold down Start, the press Power. That should be all that’s required.
Now 4 + 5s are a different matter…… 😀

My post is incorrect – this machine has an induction motor……. 😳
Module most likely culprit after all.

There’s no schematic of the board – there are general wiring schematics, but you can generally work that out. I understand that recon boards are available – I regret I do not know of any specific sources.

ParticipantRe: GW701U won’t Spin – drum just kicks every 3 seconds.
Possible wiring fault at stator or rotor sensor – corrosion problems quite common. Winding in stator may be failing. Motor board fault possible. Always worth checking lid and OOB switch just in case.

There is a manual reset stat on top of the heater box, but why has it tripped? Blower motor running? Poor airflow? No condenser trickle of water?
Power off before sticking fingers in :plug:
