Re: aeg competence electric oven problem

Thermal cut-out kit to fit B1180-4-B Pnc 94416506500 is p/no 8996619273-56/9. Email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for pricing and ordering.

As to whether this will cure your problem or not is down to your diagnostic skills – if the symptons are as outlined in the thread, it is not unreasonablle to assume that the part will do the trick.

    Power off of course.

    Regards,
    Penguin45.

Is it heating the water? Programme holds until wash temperature is reached.

Also, please find the rest of the model number 🙂 .

Re: Zanussi TC-484w – Bottle full sensor coming on

The sensor works on a trip switch – when the water is unable to flow into the chamber, it pools in the machine and operates a float switch. Over time, this area can get filled with residual fluff, leaving the switch in the activated position. Alternatively, the valve on the drawer and from the chamber can become jammed with fluff and simply not open – again, water pools in the machine, operating the switch.

Access is awkward, as the machine has to be extensively dismantled to get at the switch/float chamber. If you’re not sure, get pro help – check repairs@ or Directories for a UKW engineer in your area.

If you’re going to have a go, pull the plug first.

    Penguin45.

Yeah, 90 degree bracket lamp is obsolete, unless anyone has some residual stock. Be very, very gentle if you’re going to bend it.
