    Biffa,
The logical thing to do when the engineer returns is to sit him at your computer and show him this thread! Then tell him to sign up…..

They’ve been using the same basic codes for about 10 years now; in all honesty I’m not sure about the very latest stuff. Alexa may be able to tell you more when he’s back from his hols in a weeks time.

Sorry, can’t find that combination. Don’t panic, there are plenty of Hotpoint/Indesit engineers on the site, so an answer will turn up reasonably soon.

    Marigolds tonight I’m afraid 😀 .

Re: Indesit 1060wg/1 door seal fitting help

With the power off, remove lid. The retaining wire around the front lip must be released, then the clamp band around the drum end slackened. THEN, the door seal can pulled out through the door opening. Refitting requires patience – fit drum side and clamp band first.

    Good luck,

Dave Conway will be able to price that up for you in the morning. However, it will be a replacement gas tap, so fitting must be performed by a CORGI registered engineer, if only for your own safety.

From the left, can you advise the position of the lights flashing; ie 1 + 3.

The timer business is a safety issue – it resets to “automatic” mode until the time is set. The element is still your main suspect. If you cannot safely test it with a multimeter, it is time for some professional help. Check Repairs@UKWhitegoods or Directories for a UKW repairer in your area.

Re: indesit evolution we16 error code: ‘ – con’

We had this about 6 months ago and never did get to the bottom of it. The good news was it didn’t appear to affect the operation of the machine, so unless we have new info now, I wouldn’t worry too much about it 😆 .

    Duplicate post deleted for you.
