Flood protection operating – the tray under the machine is full of water. Drain off to re-set. If you get a repeat, it’s time to play hunt the leak.

Power off before removing any panel.

    Re: MP’S Allowances

To be honest, if this lot were making a decent fist of sorting out the mess the country’s currently in, I wouldn’t give a damn if some MP wanted a few bob to improve his lifestyle, in fact I might even wish him/her good luck.

The fact is that we have a government which works/doesn’t work on the “don’t rock the boat” principle – do nothing, go with the flow, be seen to bailing out businesses which have run on the greed principle for the last 20 years ‘cos it looks good and make nice soothing statments that it’ll be all better soon. Total Obllocks.

I have run Quality Washer Repairs for the last 16 years at a small, occasionally decent, profit. I’ve bought and improved a family home, which is now no longer an assett. The limited savings which we have put away are now worthless. The only worthwhile assett available to my business is the ISE repair work as required – it’s a tangible, valuable revenue source.

My parents situation is completely hopeless – they only have their savings. At least my wife’s parents are both in care and don’t have to worry about money. This does of course mean that she no longer has any form of inheritance to look forward to, as the local authority has taken everything, inch by inch.

So…. Anyone want to have a think about this? This lot in Westminster (and possibly our other Parliaments) are our employees – we put them there and (technically) they work for us. This total abnigation of responsibility to Parliament and us as their electors is nothing short of disgusting.

What they should be doing is sorting out the current mess. I might have some time for them then.

    Re: Word Count

No real problem with the actual text; overall a good summary. Punch line is poor. If we take a view that energy efficiency statements are now compulsory pn the sales tickets for these machines, we should be adding to that. Prodiuction energy and expected life cycle with “normal use” is something we should be lobbying for on that sales ticket.

    IMO, of course……..

I suspect that you’ve got some sort of corruption issue going on with the pcb. The flashing lamps described don’t correspond with any fault, test or diagnostic conditions of which I’m aware.

Keep the party leaders. Sack the rest of them. Start again, make them all live in a large government-owned tower block so as they all share exactly the same situation and they all go to work on the same government buses at 8am like the rest of the office workers in the country. Miss the bus? Need a taxi? Pay for it yourself – tough.

You leave me out of it, you two. The day that P45 comes up as error code, I’m off…….

Cookermann, if it’s any consolation, 250 years ago my family were all Belgian. If you are lost, Manchester is the site of the new identity card test scheme – it may help – but I doubt it. 😕
