I honestly don’t know, Nathan. The draining out bit is a self defence mechanism when a fault is detected. It can also be caused by the float switch in the base being tripped by a leak – a very common problem. However, that being the case, it won’t work again until the water is drained from the tray. PCB is an entirely possible culprit.

You should know that this is a Chinese-built machine, which has huge reliabilty and quality issues. Putting ‘chinese AND dishwasher’ into the Search facilty for this forum only brings up some pretty appalling reading. You should seriously consider moving on…….

Filter in the tub to pump hose is probably choked.

Part number 1320188-30/1. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk quoting that number should get things moving for you.

‘Ere, Jim – if I click the “Getting our own back” link, I get R600A’s profile. This is a bit unfair, as he’s in Luton and they’ve just fallen out of the league. Not really Chelsea’s fault………

This machine has the cast iron cross-piece on the back of the tub, which makes it one of the easiest bearing jobs in the business – under an hours work.

In what way is the dryer selector broken?

Bend the “loop” down on the body to engage the lock properly. Also possible that it has slipped backwards and needs re-adjusting forwards.

Not really, Jim. Our season petered out as we staggered up the table, so rather lost interest.

Now tommorow evening is going to be hilarious. Two of my good friends from SCAM (Station Cars and Motorbikes – a pub based organisation) are ‘Boro boys with a real 6 pointer against Newcastle. I suspect I’ll be organising the taxis later on in the evening.

Are you actually removing the drawer to clean it?

Everybody stop. Take a deep breath and exhale gently.

By a curious circumstance of fate, UKW does have a repairer in Amersham. I have sent him a PM and asked him to comment. I will be very surprised if he can’t give you a recommendation.

Most repairers will have a tame plumber or sparky whom they can recommend locally. It never ceases to amaze me that what customers expect us to be capable of!

I *think* that if you’ve released the bottom screws, a pull and a bit of a wiggle should let the outer glass slide down and away.

Re: Where can I see an ISE10 washer?

I’d contact admin@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and tell them your location as a starting point……. If you’re in the Leeds vicinity, I could point you to a few myself.

They’re a bit different. Don’t think washer, think “laundry machine”. They’re absolutely brilliant. As an ISE agent, I confess to a certain bias at this point. 😀

Re: White Westinghouse WW-DW013 60cm Integrated Dishwasher

It’s still a pile of Chinese carp. Last recorded (ie, we could get our hands on) failure rate for Haier-built dishwashers was 84{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} in the first year. It’s cheap for two reasons. Firstly, they can’t sell the things. This is partly because people take the time to put ‘chinese AND dishwasher’ into the search engine on the site and recoil, appalled, at the results. Secondly, they try to give them away as clearance stock.

Do you feel lucky? I’m telling you now, you’re not.

    Your call.
