ParticipantRe: Bosch dishwasher sps2432au/03
The standard failure on these machines is the wiring loom breaking at the door pivot point.
The circulation motor uses a relay as it’s start device – that may have failed.
The heater has a diaphragm pressure switch fitted, so no circulation = no heat.
For parts and exploded diagrams, go to http://www.bshcustomerservice.com and follow the links into spare parts.
Not much chance of a wiring chart, I’m afraid.

818730269 is the correct part number – it doesn’t appear to have been superceded to a new one.

Programme not reaching temperature within a predetermined period of time is a fault = flashing lights.

The black grid in the sump is a diaphragm switch. It is prone to filling up with congealed fat and jamming in the full position.

Chinese one, Jim.
Might be able to scrape up a wiring diagram if you want it?

Good grief. I have resisted the temptation to change his password and lock him out.

Les,
Shut up, go to bed, we can all talk about it in the morning when you’ve had a think about it.
By the way, we don’t do politics, we don’t do religion or anythng else contentious. We try and help each other fix stuff and make this little corner of our world a bit better.
Bear that in mind.
Night,
Chris.

The bit which you’re not getting is that your comments relating to the thread are irrelevant and are not contributing to the original posters problem.
Clear?

To date, nothing whatsoever has been moderated at all. Beyond, spam, very little is ever moderated or deleted. This is a warts and all forum, and quite honestly, at the moment, you’re making a t!t of yourself.
Consider a couple of things here.
1/ You’re new, so we’ll cut you some slack.
2/ You have made known the contents of a Private message, supplied as advice and guidance with no malicious intent. This is a no-no and very bad manners.
3/ The OP has already replied to his original problem and that should have been the end of the thread.
4/ The various forums work in different ways – plenty of fun to be had in General Trade and Off topic; lots of info to be had in Trade Tech and Spares. This particular forum is deadly serious and has implications to UKW members liveleyhoods. Unless you are fully informed of all relevant facts, it’s best to keep your beak out and let the very few capable members of the site sort these issues out.Apart from that, enjoy.

Mmm – It was your idea…
There’ll be a minute somewhere.
Just be sensible? An Englishman, a Scotsman and a Welshman go to London….
Better stop at that point. 😀

ParticipantRe: zanussi dce5655 heater????
What are you testing it with? A meter with a scale is the only way to deduce whether or not the heater works.
