Re: How long do you give yourself for a job in a customers h

I allso worked for Hoover For 13years,Before i went self employed
And used to get complaints i was to fast, The boss didnt mind as i was clearing more jobs then anyone else.
But i worked out as long as you dont rush in and rush out, with their comment “are you in a hurry”. They dont feel the job has been rushed,
IF i do a Quick job like brushs I make it last longer then 5 minutes
Booking time on jobs, 2 hour appointments,
Take zanussi tubs away for bearings, rebook other bearing jobs after taking deposit

Think it was a sticking relay, a wack to the relay seems to have sorted it,
Or was it something else i did, when checking connections, its done anyway

I DID REPAIRS IN FRIEN PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS, BEFORE IT CLOSED, THEIR WAS LOCKED WARDS, OPEN WARDS, GERIATRIC WARDS THE SMELL WAS SO BAD I USED TO TRY HOLDING MY BREATH WHEN WALKING PASSED SOME AREAS,IT HAD THE LONGEST CORRIDOR IN EUROPE AND MOST OF IT WAS USED AS A URINAL. MOST OF THE MACHINES WERE FITTED IN THE SLUICE ROOMS,=FLUSHABLE SINKS FOR BED PANS. .I WAS KNEELING DOWN REPAIRING A MACHINE WITH MY BACK TO THE DOOR, SOMEBODY COME IN COME VERY CLOSE BEHIND ME, AND STARTED TALKING AFTER A COUPLE OF MINUTES I TURNED AROUND STILL KNEELING TO FIND A NAKED YOUNG LADY ,.” PANIC” JUST THEN A NURSE WALKS IN , , I THINK THIS LOOKS BAD. IM GLAD TO SAY SHE REALIZED IT WASNT A SITUATION OF MY MAKING.
MOST OF THE WARDS WERE SO DEPRESSING, SCREEMING CRYING BEGGING FOR CIGARETTES BUT NO ONE EVER GIVE ME ANY

Re: Zanussi bearing job, 2 do or not?

lovely profitable job,we take the tub out, remove motor and weights on first visit,to make it light, repair in workshop, most need spiders we never fit gasket, silicon is ok, its best to remove spider bolts with the special type spanner or socket that works on the flat of the bolt head, they round off easy, totel charge £139.we use 2.5 cable wire to lift and lower tub springs 🙂
