ParticipantRe: Are Belling still British
Hi all who are interested,
Not been on for a while, moved to West Yorkshire, bought a house which needed renovating, had two floods 🙁 (don’t ask, but not from a washer!) etc, etc…..
Anyhow back to the cooker……. this is the best cooker I have ever used, its responsive, hob is so quick to heat up (shocked by this!), oven cooks so quickly I burnt a few things (unfortunately for Higher-water-level!), I now turn the oven off a while before opening the door as it carries on cooking for ages and saves on electric! Everyone who sees it says it looks very smart and not too ‘flimsy’. I would not hesitate to purchase another one of these but that wont be for a while as this cooker came from John Lewis and I got a 5 year warranty, (yes 5!) for £70, including accidental damage! I do not usually bother with warranties(but dad paid 😀 ), you hear so much about the problems with them but I always check with John Lewis when I buy something as they have a good reputation on customer service (or they did last time I looked 😉 )
Anyhow thats my review of sorts, hope it helps if you are looking at a similar model and cant decide.
Kind regards to all,

Or stop using the cholesterol of washing machines altogether! 💡
You are basically putting perfumed grease in you machine :eeek:
Try using Ariel powder, it smells lovely and your machine will love it!

Good that put a big 😀 on me face!
The one chore I wanted to do I doubt I will because I cant see you allowing a dopey zomerzet gal the use your £2000+ washer in a hurry! 😥
How much you love it I bet our marriage vows will say, ‘do you take this man and his Miele Little Giant!’ 😆
At least we agree on Miele being the best, that’s the one and only thing! Proper marriage material then eh! 😆

What a shame there’s a filter on here to prevent the use of strong language! :violent:
Hi drummonkey,
Let us know if you can presuade your fiancee to keep the best vac she will ever use or if you have to purchase a cylinder Sebo which is obviously better than most but not up to the Sebo X4!quickwash :plug:

Hi drummonkey,
Martin is spot-on too!
Out of curiosity from where did you purchase the Sebo X4? (If you are thinking ‘nosey cow’, then it’s well known on here that you are correct 😆 )

Hi drummonkey,
Oliver is spot-on here, you will be losing out on performance whatever you choose next.
Any upright will tip if used tugged overzealously, but the superior job the Sebo X4 does makes it worth the extra care to avoid this. I also doubt very much if you will able to return the X4 now anyhow.
I would tell you fiancee to stick with the Sebo X4 and wear a crash helmet! 😆
Best wishes
