Re: My ISE10 1607W arrived today

    hi,

I will be having the new 1607 delivered soon, do you think that i will actually need a demo? I will be ordering from my local supplier who didnt mention a demo when i phoned, but then again it is only £15 for delivery, installation and recycling my old machine. It probably depends on how much you pay, i suspose i would want a demo included if i was paying £50. I think it does mention somewhere about a demo being included but i think that is probably if buying from the ukwhitegoods site. It would obviously take a bit of time to do a cycle so you would basically be paying for the time of the engineer or whoever installs it.

Hope you enjoy your new machine, if thats the right expression for a washing machine, i know i will when i get mine. 😀

ps – excitedly off to look at the pics! :bounce:

me neither! The new approach by ise has really taken my interest, i have not joined anything else on the net ever! Though i am glad i am not the only one as i was feeling a bit of a sad individual, this forum being the first thing i always look at when i turn the computer on!!

    best wishes

    hi all,

Sorry for the rant, too much cider last night (joke), a zomerset one! Some of the comments were valid of course, i should have mentioned that. :error: It was the ‘screams genuine’ that upset my apple cart. I often feel i should shout for the small guy, but of course the folks at ise will have expected there to be many obstacles along the way with their new approach. :brave:

These forums are after all a good thing as we can all air our views, anyhow :lesson: learnt 😳

i wish all the best to ise for going against the grain and for their future success, now i will

Re: ISE appliances – some thoughts

    hi all,

After reading the post above i was stunned by the words ‘screams genuine’ i would say screams genius! I give the folks at ise the big
for turning their backs on the ‘throwaway era’ and producing quality products which last! 😀

The post says that it is not a pop at ise but i wonder how many people have been put off buying the ise10. I realise this is a forum to express your views but surely these comments would have been better posted in a PM, as i did when i had an issue with the drop-down door of the previous ise10 model, (no longer an issue thanks to the guys at ise listening to their customers) Obviously given a bit of time the supply and service will run more smoothly, but i for one would rather have to wait for an ise product than buy from a giant corporation who doesnt give a damn about their customers when they have a problem, most reading this will have a good idea of what i am talking about, plus you only have to check your phone bill!! :phone:

I would say that if you had basically decided not to purchase the 1607 why bother to post negative views about a small company which has stuck its neck out to produce a better product and be more customer friendly :salute:

Sorry to go on a bit, but i feel quite strongly about someone criticising anybody for trying something different. :nono:

    Re: Couldn’t hold out

hi, i know which one i will be choosing and it wont be miele! When i read the post after reading the previous one on the ise10 v miele i was 😯 when you chose the miele over the new ise10, apart from not being able to ‘hold out’ what would the other reasons be? The parts and labour costs will make your eyes water after your warranty runs out, so the saving of £47 couldnt have been the reason for your choice surely? I have read that a lot of local repairers wont or cant repair a miele, especially the newer models. I had previously considered a miele but after making a few enquiries i found out that the newer miele machines need a dianostic tool that only miele engineers carry, dont quote me, but this is what i read and it seems quite plausible, as this is the way most things are going nowadays! Or if the engineer could fix the machine he could still not reset the fault code, with miele offering to send an engineer to reset it for £130 because they wouldnt give this information even to the trade! Whether this is all correct i dont know but it has turned my head from miele and i was relieved to find out about the ise products which give the same or better quality and longevity without needing ‘special engineers’ and making parts that are way too exspensive. I give a big  to the guys at ise and they will also be getting my custom. 🙂

Re: ISE 10 Review (Hope It Helps!)

    hi,

I was about to purchase the 1606 until ken said the new 1607 was about to be released and was worth waiting for. My old servis machine is not actually dead just groaning but i cant wait for my new 1607, in fact i have become a little obsessed! I am also getting the “why not buy a so and so and then after a few years get something new”. I say why when i can buy something that will last at least 10 years, probably a lot longer and has a far less impact on the enviroment. I am so glad that ise has come up with products that are not ‘throw away’ like most other makes are.

    Re: ISE10 1607w

ahhh, got it now thanks ken, i got the drain hose muddled up with fill hose 😳

I was thinking that the drain hose was stiffer than usual, so i may have a problem getting it to the side of the machine, but glad you have cleared that up because now i should have no problems with the stiffer hose as the water connections are in the usual place. 😀

    Bet everyone is :rotl:

thanks ken for the quick reply

    Re: ISE10 1607w

    hi ken,

on this very subject i was about to post, my waste pipe is located at the side of my machine about half way back on the corner wall, theres a gap of almost 900mm where the 1607 would fit, a bad kitchen design! (not mine) :haier:

So if you can understand from the description, i was wondering would the stiffer hose of the 1607 be able to be bent around the side of the machine or should i get the waste pipe re-located around the back of the machine, if so where would be the best place on the back wall, like central or towards left or right? Or if i had to use an ordinary hose, which i didnt really want to because obviously there is a reason for this style of hose, does it effect the guarantee in any way please?

    Re: Washing machine

hi all, on reading this i just wondered how many washing machines are taken to the council tip etc when just a bit of cleaning and unblocking is required!! I have posted on here before about what a brilliant site this is and i have definately had my point proved here! And for FREE, a thing seldom heard of in this day and age!

hi, i read on her somewhere that it was the 5th of november. Also as per your first post i think i am right in saying that the 1607 has a smart fill for water and electricity 🙂 Definately think you have made the right choice, i am also having the 1607 as it built like a tank and has the 10 year guarantee, i dont know if you have already read up on the machine but another plus is that if required parts are cheaper after the machine is out of guarantee

Re: The new ISE10 model… what will its features be?

I mean it sounds great from what i have read 😉 But i will say that i do not mind how much noise it makes as long as it does its job well! I would rather a noisy machine than a pile of dirty washing any day:?: Unless a person lives in a flat where noise is more of a neighbour issue i fail to understand what the problem is, with hand washing and twin tubs you are more or less stuck on the spot, so at least it is possible to go off and do something else while the machine does all the hard work for you :worthy:

Anyhow, a big thumbs up to the people who came up with this made to last machine

The new model looks and sounds fab  Sure glad the drop down door no longer fitted cause i would not be able to have one if it was! I will be a very happy bunny when one is plumbed in my kitchen 😀
