    Re: ISE Insurance backed Warranty?

    hi ajsdoc,

Think i’m lost myself also 😆 You did actually answer the question in your post really, that the two issues with old and new models would have been better in seperate threads perhaps 😕

What i was actually referring to was that the original thread was started by an owner of a 1607, so the thread wasnt really started for the questions about the axa based policies of the 1606, which have been going since ise started, so i would have thought that if there had been any problems with the 10 year guarantee someone or some body would have ‘kicked up’ by now, thats all 🙂

Like you say, the two issues have been explained as best as can be. I also agree that better documentation for 1606 owners would obviously have been a better assurance and that us 1607 owners should get some sort of documentation for to their guarantees when available.

The one thing this thread has definately proved is that the people at ise are prepared to ‘talk’ to their customers, for which i give the big

Lets hope that none of us have to try out our different guarantees anyway 😉

    kind regards

    Re: ISE Insurance backed Warranty?

    hi ajsdoc,

You seem to have misunderstood my post, i was referring only to the insurance backed warranted machines (1606), this thread was started to ask why axa were not mentioned on mbooth’s paperwork for his 1607. The 5 year comment has no bearing whatsoever on the 1607’s ise backed guarantee. 😉

PS (ken) who would! I for one am glad you use your brain power on ise’s quality washers, dryers etc for us customers to wonder at. :worthy:

    hi ken,

I knew you guys would have all that technical stuff sussed!

All i have to say is that the ise10 is a cut above the rest as far as i am concerned, ise have obviously put tremendous time, effort and expense into your products for us so they are easy to use 😉 That is why it is the only machine that has tempted me to part with my money, and believe me that is rare!!

    regards

    hi,

You should read the info about the 1607 first me thinks! As is states that the 1607 has a 40 wash that is shorter than almost any other A rated machine! Sounds good to me 🙂

    hi ken,

Exactly, same here, as it saves on postage, which on some sites is more than the items you need! Postage on here isnt too bad really but nice to ‘do it in one go’ so to speak, wherever possible 🙂

    Great 💡

    Re: ISE Insurance backed Warranty?

Be glad when thursday comes (1607 being installed) as my old servis is now on its deathbed! Apart from not rinsing and spinning only when it feels like it, it now sounds like the drum is no longer attached to the machine! 🙁

It will be a big occasion for me (having a new washer, and the best as far as i am concerned) as it will be my first new washer in almost 20 years, 17 with an old indesit washer/dryer (a miracle) and numerous secondhand models!

from one 😀 lady come thursday eve

    Re: ISE Insurance backed Warranty?

    hi ajsdoc,

I do understand where you are coming from, but surely it is obvious that ise would not be able to promote the machine as an ISE10 with a ten year guarantee if you only have a 5 year warranty, they would have been had up by trade descriptions by now! In all honesty when you think about it ISE, if they had been a company with dubious intent, could have just printed up some fancy card or paperwork just to keep their customers quiet, like others i have seen which when you actually read them says nothing at all to back anything up, so i think we (the customers) are very lucky to get the chance to ask our questions (and actually get them answered) directly to the people behind ise 😀

    best wishes to all,

PS Just to make this very clear, i am not saying that anyone on here has said that ise are a company of dubious intent, i am just making a general comment ok. I thought i had better add this as it has been known for people to misinterpert comments made on here. :innocent:

Re: ISE 10 Eco wash too long

Thanks for the quick reply as usual ken. I am even more :bounce: now about my new 1607 arriving! It will be like a  for the first few washes 😀

At the moment my old servis isnt rinsing at all with no ill effect on our skin, so i probably wont need the seven rinses 😆 It is a fantasic option for people with sensitive skin though 💡

My 1607 is being delivered next thursday, and thanks for your help in securing me one of the first batch 🙂

    best wishes

    Re: ISE Insurance backed Warranty?

    hi all,

I am so glad that derbyhopper (MD of ise i may add, imagine that in this day and age!) has explained this (again) very clearly. I now think it is up to the individual as to whether they keep or buy their ise10, as mentioned before i am happy to ‘trust’ in ise as to my guarantee. I can see a lot of advantages with this new way of warranting the machines, but i dont like insurance companies alot in all honesty! I hope i never have to ‘try out’ my guarantee! These are well built machines that are used in industry so problems with domestic users are rare, apart from the mentioned ‘user errors’ of course! :rolls:

Best wishes to all. And happy christmas 😉 Am i the first? The shops make me :haier: how early they stuff their shops with christmas fare! Sorry :offtopic:

    Re: ISE Insurance backed Warranty?

    hi jaunty,

I think an earlier post mentioned that ise are in talks with a couple of indepenent companies who will ‘run’ the escrow fund and will inform us (the customers) this information as soon as possible when it is a done deal. It is also mentioned that at present it would be basically impossible for ise to go bust in the mean time as they owe no one anything.

I re-read all post this morning so that i could see who was asking what because of the 2 different types of warranty, as some own a 1606 and others (like myself next thursday) a 1607. Think i have ‘got’ the jist of it all now. I read it as the 1606 owners can obtain their details of their own insurance should they desire and the 1607 owners will know in due course the details of their warrantees as soon as an independent company has been ‘signed up’ with. Is this correct ken?

    best wishes

    hi jaunty,

I purchased my machine from my local supplier whom was paid directly, not ukw, the machine was sent to them by ise and then the local chap will be delivering, installing and removing my old machine. 😀

    Re: ISE Insurance backed Warranty?

    hi all,

I did say that rude was not the right word to use really, it was however the asking of the same question that had already been answered that i thought was strongly persistent rather than rude. I did not mean to upset anyone just to point out that ise is the only company that i have come across that is prepared to answer freely and truthfully, whether good or bad, any questions that have been put to them whether on here or on the telephone.

I had actually thought of editing the rude bit out but was called to go and help my neighbour so did not get the chance. Have only just returned to read the posts. I should have known that ken would come back with the post that he did, which actually goes to show, come to think of it, what a genuine lot they are by disagreeing with me who was ‘sticking up’ for them! So maybe my post did some good in that respect. Unfortunately i was the one who came across as rude and am 😳 about that!

I do agree that some sort of note should have been put somewhere, even on here say, that mentioned the fact that axa were not longer involved in the warranties, but i feel this was an oversight rather than a deliberate act of deceit. Personally i am happy but others arent, that is obviously their right to be so, but i found the offer of money back and the picking up of the machine quite fair.

Anyhow looking forward to the arrival of my new machine, cant wait to see it in the flesh so to speak. :bounce:
