ParticipantRe: ISE 10 Eco wash too long
hi all,
It really is like waiting for the delivery of a baby! In fact i am even more excited and hopefully a lot less painful 😆 (I’m of the fairer sex, just in case all you female members were thinking of shouting a me!)
I know how to use a washing machine but i dont know if i can work out how to post a photo 😳 Sure glad martin has put a picture on here for me 😀
I will be updating on the ‘delivery’ though 😉

hi dusty321,
I dont know what those valve thingies are but i do know that i would not buy a dyson washer 🙁
Have you noticed that they have ‘faded’ from the selves! Good reason for that me thinks 🙂
Wish you good luck with whatever you decide 😀
My new ise10 is arriving tomorrow and i cant wait. I will be like  watching the first few cycles!
kind regards

hi dusty321,
That machine looks ok, but a lot of money for just your horsey things, i wouldnt personally want my ‘bits and pieces’ washed with ‘other’ stuff,
why not consider an ise10 for your domestic use and some cheap, even secondhand machine with one of those valve thingies, (forgive me i’m a woman) for your horsey stuff 🙂 Just an idea 😀best wishes

ParticipantRe: Miele – not as good as everyone says.
hi coigach,
I do sympathise with people who live in the areas i often see mentioned on various ‘checkouts’ asking the buyer to contact the seller regarding postage costs to remote areas, it must be a real pain! However, in defence of ise they are a ‘toddlers’ in the appliance market compaired with miele who have been about for decades so would find it hard to subsidise remote delieveries, where as miele and i dont want to ‘dish’ them too much, charge such high prices on their after guarantee parts and engineers that they should have ‘money in the bank’ available for such subsidies. Maybe ise delivery prices will come down in the future but i realise this doesnt help you at present 🙁
MY ise10 is being delivered by my local agent tomorrow and like i say, i do genuinely sympathise with your predicament 😥
best wishes

PS – just read the new post by dales-electronic which fantastic to see that there are agents out there who are prepared to help in this remote postage problem (well done guys) and i sincerely hope you can get a brilliant ise10 delivered. 🙂

hi jaunty,
GaryB2 did post again under ‘Hot fill end cap’ presume he sorted the plumbing probs, but i did wonder how he was getting on with the machine after this as he never posted again.

ParticipantRe: What washing machine – help me decide……
hi dusty321,
Firstly i dont know if it is still possible nowadays, but if you only keep a horse/horses for a ‘family pet’ so to speak, then what we used to do was send our ‘horsey’ things off for laundering rather than use the machine at home. 🙂
We had one horse that was a ‘roller’ so we used the nylon topped type blanket that i regularly yard brushed! 🙁 This reduced the frequency of laundry episodes!!
Then, if it was possible to do this type of laundering nowadays, then you could own a fantastic ise10 with 10 years guarantee for your ‘home’ washing! Have a ‘read up’ of its features, the machine is simple for the user, but inside it features are pure genius!
best wishes

Yes iadom, i have seen those used in our local stables come to think of it. They might be easier to load with a big blanket than a front loader but i still rather have the ise10. 😉

ParticipantRe: What washing machine – help me decide……
hi all,
I could only find 1 year also.
Personally, I would go for an ise10 all day long! The machines are built like tanks, built for longevity with a 10 year guarantee, but with a 20+ year lifespan and cheap parts after guarantee is out! 🙂
They may seem a bit expensive to start with but if the machine only lasted for the 10 years that would cost less than £1.80 per week! 😀
kind regards

hi dusty321,
Does the hoover really have a 10 year guarantee, because when i was looking for a machine (i bought the ise10) the only one i could find with a 10 year guarantee was a miele (which i didnt want) and they only give 10 years when on promotion. 😕
