    Thanks Dave,

I didn’t think they would be helpful without the service number?
    I’ll give it a go though 😀

For the sake of anyone searching, the fault on both of these was a sock caught on the heating element in the same spot on both machines! I’m assuming this was upsetting the pressure switch as the air chamber comes off the sump hose 😉

    Hi Simon,
Have you had a look at the main pcb, maybe some damage there?
I’ve not had this fault before, do the lights flashing correspond to any fault codes?

    Regards

    Morning Steve,
Might be worth checking the wash motor impeller for blockages, that stops a pressure switch being activated and starts the lights flashing.
Had the same symptoms a while back and was kindly helped on here 😀
    Regards, Ray

You were all absolutely right, it was quite a few wrappers etc buried in the impellor.
All done and dusted, Many thanks! 😀

    Quick update, spot on Steve!
Removed the freezer door handle, took off door hinge undone two screws under the handle and lifted off door skin to access display module. Took around 30 minutes and the new module cured the problem 😀
    Thanks again!

    Re: AEG dishwasher module setup?

Quick update, nothing in the manual regarding any setup procedure on a configured module.
I fitted an older module and it all worked fine, on contacting Electrolux customer service and explaining the modules they were sending me are unconfigured i got this: ‘The parts we have sold to you are in perfect working order and have been
tested in Europe and we do not have any problem with our stock’
    Very helpful!
Anyhoo, thanks for your help Dave 🙂

Thanks Martin, i am reluctant to change the module in case some thing happens to it afterwards! This machine seems possessed!
