    the only thing is they are different temperatures! one is 90C (top oven)
    I might go on Smegs live chat thingy tomorrow and bug them 😉

    Every time i’ve had this fault, it turned out to be the hose from the chamber to the sump. Some have rotted internally so look normal on the outside but have a reduced bore inside. Might be worth a look 😉

    once you take the sensor out, you can have a peek with a torch.
    Personally, i just use the ‘Force”….. 😀

    oops..forgot to ask how much the PCB bit is and the best place to get one?
    been mugged by Comets in the past…

    They are pretty straightforward to change and on the ones i’ve done, the heater boxes have been spotless.
    anyway…don’t like changing heater units on these 😀

    I shall dig out the model number for more clarity.

    I’ve found that replacing both the thermistors in the freezer cures a multitude of sins 😉

    Here we go…A07001GB52 and that model number is off the rating plate, i had to double check as i thought the customer had got it wrong!

    Hi Seamy,
    Had one of these before, it turned out to be a dry joint on the module.
    Blob of solder and it sprang to life 😀

    Thanks Tony, i’m getting a healthy reading from the tacho so possible board fault..but which one! i think i can safely eliminate the display pcb which leaves two more, one at the top and a covered one at the bottom right of the cabinet.

    Hi DP,

    Maybe wiring fault between thermistor and timer? or an exotic fault with the economy switch?
