    Re: Hoover OPH 714D/1-80

    hello
    i’ve just had a call about a fault on a HOOVER OPH714DS.
he says it started with an occasional E07 fault indication. now it’s showing
E16..are E07 and E16 faults connected in any way?
    thanks

well done.. it seems ages ago that you started this thread, but it was only
last june. from your experience and mine of the small claims court it works well even if it can be a bit drawn out.
i think that a court judgement against some people makes them realise that they can’t get away with default as it will affect their credit rating for a long long time.

not yet, have had long conversations with customer!!
he has some of the usual fears about big cost to fix it…
i thought if i had some ideas to work out when i get on site
it would save some time and stave off customers suggestions..
    thanks for reply…
i will post result of visit..

mike, the buttons do feel a bit vague, but when i hold them down
i get what maybe a “reset” feature. all lights come on, flicker through
from START, BOTH TIME DELAY INDICATORS, and END. so it looks like they are making contact.

    Re: Lee’s Cost Embarrassment Thread

    lee,
give me a break.. specifically….what costs have dropped…
van insurance, road tax, fuel (ok it’s a bit up and down), community charges, rent, mortgages, you know, stuff WE have to pay with no appeal. are the dropping costs you mention passed onto US?
