We do a lot of in warranty repairs for beko and if the machine has been replaced for the same one, she will probably have the same issue down the line. Most common causes are customer using quick 30 min wash for a full load and too much detergent. It causes the water to run down the front around the door and is always reported as leaking door. The repairs beko have suggested so far include: to lower the water pressure. To remove the sump ball(since been retracted and can no longer do that) to adjust the appliance so it’s leaning back more and finally they have redesigned the detergent box assy to help improve water flow into the drum. Apart from not contacting the customer to advise I don’t think the agent has done anything wrong, customer care could and should be a lot slicker. Also agree it should have gone straight to the retailer not the manufacturer

You will always get e32 during diagnostics as this just shows there is no circuit between paddle sensors( which will be the case unless there is wet washing in or you have manually bridged them out. It will either be an ntc or pcb issue.

Hav they been left to settle before turning on. If they are turned on too soon the oil and get circulated around the system and cause a blockage, very unusual to have issues with brand new products

    Re: British Gas 0800

I feel for the guys there if it a:fails or b: goes to 0800, if it fails then they are effectively priced out of the industry as at £30k+ wages there are not many paying anywhere near that money, if it goes to 0800 they will hopefully keep there job but won’t be the company they are used to. I’ve spoken to a couple of guys who have gone to 0800 and left, for many different reasons.
Sadly it seems that a step backwards is the only way for them.

I totally agree. I for one wouldn’t make the decision to buy a failing division.

I can only assume if true that the game plan is to try and gain a strong hold in the industry and be the ‘go to’ guys based on the ability to cover nationwide.

They do really well on the gas side. But as we all know the white goods is a very fine line between making money and losing a lot.

We use the Vulkan smart charge r600a rig. Really good bit of kit but bloody expensive at over £1k. Takes the guess work out for any newly trained guys

Re: Beko DW450 dishwasher all lights on

Very common that cust doesn’t allow the cycle to finish and turns off prematurely. Dry cycle is silent so some custs think it’s finished. First thing just reset/cancel the programme and try again, surprising how often this is the case. Also sometimes child lock can be activated stopping any functions

    Re: Fridge Warm Zanussi ZX79/5Si

This range of products suffer very few system probs. Much more likely a failed defrost heater causing excessive ice build blocking the air flow to fridge. Sadly your pcb was never required. It will be either of the defrost heaters going o/c there are 2 on this mode one wound through the evaporator and one stuck underneath the evaporator housing. Check both of these for continuity, also fan failure occcurs on these. There are no cooling parts in the fridge all the cold for the appliance is made in the freezer and blown into the fridge. Probably a heater or fan failure. Hope this helps. Also there is history of the Ntc’s failing which cause excess ice build up stopping the air flow. If the ntc fails the 3 small buttons in between the dials would flash during normal operation

Been reliably informed that there are major shakeups ahead, no one knows what yet but engineers sitting waiting for jobs, can’t say I’m disappointed after losing good staff to the lure of the big bucks that sadly we just couldn’t match
