Re: John Lewis Upright Freezer FZW1816

Don’t recognise the model it on a lot of these style lux have brought out an external drain tube mod, the internal drain tube freezes and blocks, a messy repair as you have to cut out the back panel (from rear) and install from there

    Re: barcodes

I don’t currently have barcodes on the bin just the item location i.e A1 etc.
I need to create the barcode so I can scan it. ive been told I can do it by downloading a font to word, but buggered if I can get that to work.

    Re: Route planning

just an update. speedyroute.com is really good and you can use upto 5 routes per 24 hrs after that you have to subscribe @£30 per month, for our other techs we use optimap.net which is good but for some reason doesn’t always load.

Cheers guys. Optimap worked great 1st time then couldn’t get it to work again, Google maps doesn’t optimise the route it just directs you around them

    Re: north west based work

I love the ‘wet and dry are ten a penny’ quote. If so send some my way I’m crying out for decent reliable engineers. Had 3 start this year and let them all go as thinking you can do this job and actually doing this job are massively different. It amazes me how people apply with a good cv but when asked to do the basics they struggle. Wish everyone was as good as me! 😉 ha ha.

Hi guys thanks for the heads up, we decided to swerve at all costs. I had a few conversations with other service centres who all advised near on impossible to get payment.

    Sometimes it pays to share.

    Thanks

most likely the pcb however dont rule out the socket/plug, if you have a poor connection in the wall socket it can cause overheating in the plug. Does the plug get hot in use? it shouldnt. if not probably the pcb.
