Hi Dave thanks for the reply. Is that something that’s easy fixed. I’m in the process of getting lg out to have a look as it is still under warranty.

    Thanks

My father in law decided that he would just buy a new machine as we suspect board failure also.

    thanks

I’ve actually just realised the blue and white is 51v on one side and a red and blue on the other that’s 174v

Hi Dave I’m going to get a new one at the end of the week and hopefully that solves my issue. Thanks for your help

Hi Dave, thanks for your reply. I have ran the machine today and the kitchen towel underneath is wet so it’s still leaking ever so slightly. I can’t see any obvious cracks and the seal is in good condition.

if you skip to 2 minutes 50 on this video you will see how it’s all goes together. I wasn’t sure whether I could possibly put some water mixed with food dye to see if the colour would show me where the water is travelling and how it is escaping. https://youtu.be/_GOXIW6HzEY

    thanks

Phoned Electrolux and they are coming out FOC to update the software next week. I was expecting a fight but they had no issues at all! Thanks for the help!

Is this something I should just call zanussi service and ask if they can update the software? I would hope that they would do this free of charge as it is an error on their behalf. Thanks for your help Dave very much appreciated!

It’s almost as though it always thinks it’s off balance and aborts and just keeps going round in a loop trying to rebalance the washing. Even though it’s empty.

    Ok so:

    Mod ZWF01483WR Type FLP0944C1
    Prod No 914910304 02

I am suspecting it’s the control board that has a fault.

To the best of my knowledge this machine has a self cleaning filter and you are unable to clean it as there is no access to it.

Hi Dave. I have had the belt off defiantly not the pump as it does this when the pump is off. It’s a very high pitch squeal when it is going round at a constant speed.

Hotpoint WDPG9640 Aquarius + Water heater

I posted on Saturday about my mums washing machine. After some fault finding I have discovered that the water element is away. (I have checked it with a multimeter) and ran a 90 wash stopped it and felt the temp of the water it was cold). My problem is I can’t seem to remove the elemen from the bottom of the drum. It comes out about 10mm and then it seems to catch on a 1mm high step all around the rubber seal. Is there a trick to getting this out as it feels absolutely solid.

    Thanks

PS sorry for the new topic if this is an issue please merge.
