Cheers johnnyj ,managed to get a socket and see BG one from someone who worked for British gas.Works pretty good and good for loop testing hard wired appliances.

This now sorted ,removed pump cleaned it and removed water that was in housing container , then removed micro switch to check wiring .Put it back and working as normal .Thanks Seamy for the tip regarding water circuit, pump & float switch.Worth noting in future .Did check the micro switch and pump when first looked at but did not remove pump .Reckon you was right about it not resetting .Anyone removing pump there is a screw hidden on housing .

    Re: Beko Tumble Dryer DRCS68W

Got one of these with check water light flashing and start/pause light flashing ..The dryer starts to work normally then just stops with above lights flashing after about 30sec..Checked heater ,heater comes on in timed drying but then does the same..NTC and reset stat on heater both ok as is the NTC at front of machine behind facia ..Disconnected heater and still does the same . I even put wet clothes in for sensor drying and it does the same ,comes on for 30secs then cuts out with lights flashing.Anyone got any info they could send me ?
Forgot to add checked motor and that meggerd fine.

I don’t think anyone is trying to say that “all” heaters will go back in ..That is a big statement to say as any one removing said heater will look at the overall condition and make that call..I have probably not done as many heaters as you or Martin but the ones i have refitted were still in good shape so less expense for the customer .If there was a doubt regarding the heater it would be replaced without a doubt. But i would not just replace the heater with a new one just because it was removed and a little fiddly to put back in.

    Re: Washer Heaters

I must admit that i have not had any issues replacing a used element back where it came from after removal ! As Ken says some fairy liquid and a little wiggle here and there and they do go back in .Was a little surprised that a few are having trouble getting them back in .Fair enough if the bra wire etc has damaged the element then replace with new one ,other than that just manoeuvre it back in. 🙂

Hi Johnnyj is it the same one i have linked that you are now using or is yours the Loop Tester PDL 230BG ? why did you prefer the ez is it cause it’s easier to fit in tool box than the socket and see.
    Thanks

funkyboogy wrote:not sure about this one shaun , but i think what you would do is plug the thick black lead into tester , plug the other end into wall socket , and then clamp the green flying lead onto earth of appliance ..

we have metrel ones you see on the side of the page and thats what we do..

    hope this helps

    ally

Cheers alley ,i did find on this site http://www.test4less.co.uk/details.asp?productid=164

The manual in pdf ,if you click on the data sheet next to description it shows the manual..it shows using the 3 test leads on a socket unscrewed from the wall so am assuming that you would use these for hard wired appliances using the earth, neutral and live test leads attached to the socket similar to what it shows in the manual. And the test lead with plug would be for sockets where you can plug in to.

Any more feedback on this meter is welcomed 😀

Can you not find out where the floor came from and see if you can get the same floor and get someone to take out the damaged bits and place with new boards ?? Can understand if you cannot get a matching board but if you can ,then a full new floor should not be needed.
