    Re: beko wm1512 motor run-on

I would meg the motor connector pins and check the tacho and check brushes on motor to rule them out first and wiring on connector block.I know the modules seem to act up on these from what i have found out but i would rule out the easiest first.

I have a wma1512w to look at tomorrow not taking powder from middle dispenser (main wash) but takes it ok from pre wash compartment already looked at it but could not find anything wrong ,no blockages and valves all working … :rolls:

Thanks for that Dave .I did notice when searching for tacho magnet that you can get tacho coil and cover but not the magnet ..shame they do not sell it as a spare ..I’ll make sure i keep them of any BER m/c in-future.

Will get some spare brushes in ..Thanks again.

New brushes fitted and all working well ..tacho i repaired the hairline crack with some araldite rapid steel which seemed to work ,only time will tell but customer was happy to do it that way as i did not have a spare tacho magnet.

I think minimum should be around 5.7k and max about 6.3k at 20c for NTC sensor.

Has anyone got a spare magnet for the above as i feel that the crack in the one on this motor is eventually gonna go ..I don’t mind paying for it ..just wanna do the job right for the woman 😀 I have informed her about it and explained it to her as she really cannot afford a new motor at this time .. 4 kids and no hubby so she would take the gamble to howc long tacho will hold out but as said ,i don’t like doing that knowing there is a crack in the magnet now :rolls:

Now, I wonder if they have ‘stolen’ almost word for word the vital error codes from the UKW Bible? 😉

Graham Dixon’s book is on Amazon for about £4 so I might save up and take a punt on that some day soon…but which is best? 😕

Martin i thought the same as you regarding the UKW bible , i might get it just to see if they have ripped off the bible from this site ? trouble is i am actually keeping them in business though 👿 if they have then it’s not on and they should be closed down from the net .I also think it’s sad when some one actually insinuates that all engineers are rip off merchants 🙁

Not sure how to get into service mode on this unless it’s the same as the one in fault code book…Anyway everything seemed fine and had a text today saying still working fine after a full wash today 😉
