Well the Circulation pump was replaced, the new pump still vibrates a little right at the end of the cycle just before the drying cycle….i guess thats just the way they are…if it gets worse i will just have to live with it.

Nah, that’s a ‘act of God’ and the insurance co. won’t pay up I’m afraid.

Still, you’ve had 2 months out of it anyway Simon so count your blessings. I and many others have been following ‘your story’ as it pans out, a tale all too familiar. The Indesit service engineer will now be welcomed into your home and in no time at all a familiar face. Many call so regularly that they quickly become part of the family, with gifts shared across the Christmas dining table…………… 🙂

LOL – thanks for your optimism 😮

I better get an extra Christmas Card and Mince Pie at the ready then….

keithwilliams wrote:its an indesit which has a spray pump of such poor quality its even worse than the bad whirlpool ones. i’ve replaced a couple of the hotpoint ones both at about 13 months. dare i say it but now you’ve bought it you might consider their extended labour warranty, cos it costs £104 to get hotpoint out once your normal warranty expires. an independent like me would be hard pushed to replace that pump for less and still be able to feed my kids.

Or… i could just smash it with a hammer and say to the insurance it was a meteor strike – or something to that effect. 😆

So would you agree the dh level is around 16.5? it’s just within the default level of my water softener but at the high end.

    Cheers.

Thanks for that, what area to you cover?

I actually live on the Bucks border, nr aylesbury. (Hp17) The Water hardness Level from Thames Water indicates i should have the water softner set to the default level which is up to Hard Water.

Re: Finish Powerball Max in One / Rinse Aid

Thanks for the Fab advise, i take it also that when the rinse aid has been exhausted from the dispenser and i decide to use the powerball solution i just ignore the Rinse Aid empty light on the D/W.

Thanks again, i’ll let you get on and get your medication now. 😆

Re: Finish Powerball Max in One / Rinse Aid

Thanks for the advise Martin, so are you saying i should use all my rinse aid up from the dispenser before trying one of those Finish Max in one tablets, or is there a way i can set the machine to stop using rinse aid other than turning it down to the lowest setting.

    Thanks Again.

    Martin,

Thanks for your reply – as you say a big common sense factor plays a big part which i guess applies to all electrical appliances.

    Thanks Again.

one last question – would the fairy active burst product be more favourable over the multi – tabs like finish all in one for example.?
