Re: liebherr ikb 3650 larder fridge temp on display 15 degre

the compressor is hot not overly hot though it wasnt running when i got at it (integrated ) the food is cold enough 5 to 6 degrees but the display will never go to what you set it at , i also noticed the wooden base the fridge is sitting on is almost closed off to any air coming up to cool the compressor the sides are open 100mm gap all round and the top is open again 100mm , would this cause the comp to overheat , why would the led display not show the correct temp inside the fridge, its not 13 degrees in there

that would be kohms right ? i have 3.65 kohms at 6 degrees for the evap sensor

correct yes! should have pointed that out! I cut and pasted from a table that left that information out.

Are you certain you have the correct sensor? (9590142) and have you used that connector plug they supply with it correctly?

i ordered the sensor kit from NAA , i installed kit but fridge still stuck on 15 degrees , temp of evap is only 6 degrees , pcb board ??

I take if from what you are saying that the lower oven works fine and that it is just the top oven that has failed.

The elements share a common live connection to each other which comes through a 180C thermal cut out from BF6 on the PCB (this is controlled by one relay).

The neutrals for the elements are individually switched by relays on the PCB, the neutral connection to the PCB is fed in on BF3 (a different connection to the one for the main oven).

Have you checked the PCB for dry joints? It would be strange for 3 relays to fail at once.

If you have checked that the wiring is as stated above and the PCB joints look good then I would double check the sensor.

The top oven sensor is the same type as the one for the main oven so it may be worth quickly swapping them to confirm that it is not a sensor issue.

If none of the above works then I can’t help you any further without photos as that is as deep as the diagrams go.

Jem Hi Jem , went annd took a few pics today , on closer inspection none of the ovens work top or bottom ,hob is working fine ,i checked board over no sign of anything wrong , so has to be control board i have a few pics ill try upload em here https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=C3D31F04DC83B722&id=C3D31F04DC83B722{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}212950&parQt=allmyphotos&parId=root&v=3https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=C3D31F04DC83B722&id=C3D31F04DC83B722{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}212945&parQt=allmyphotos&parId=root&v=3
