dean west is a good mate of mine. It’s what all the ex league club supporters think when they are in the conference.
It’s very tough in the conference, losing the league money is a sharp shock and a reality check and very difficult to get promotion, ask Luton supporters, some decent football sides down here.
Imps (at sixes and sevens), Grimsby Wrexham and others probably all have thought we are too good to be down here.
I still keep going every week, cant help it, it’s in the blood!spimps

Was queing to get into a theatre in London waiting on a staircase and the guy next to me said “it’s like getting into a football ground”, “not the one I support “I replied, “who’s that then” he asked. I hardly dare answer.
Up the IMPS.
He must have been a Chelski,Spurs or a gooner supporter. :rolls:spimps

ParticipantRe: A return of the BAD old days
Problem possibly due to dampness, if elements are open to the atmosphere and stored in that way they absorb moisture which is mostly the cause of that problem.
I have in the past had these faults and taken elements back to workshop and run without earth for 20 minutes and the earth fault disappears as the elements dry out, even if they are delivered sealed you don’t know where they were sealed in the bag, perhaps already with moisture in, factory, distributors wholesalers if it comes in a pattern companies own bag or box it’s likely they were delivered to them loose and then packaged.
If you don’t fancy connecting up without earth stick them in your oven for 30 minutes and see if it reduces the earth reading.spimps

Walking the dog this morning and saw two Man Utd season tickets nailed to a fence, thought I’m having them:
You just never know when you might need a couple of nails!

ParticipantRe: weak cooling – Miele tall freezer
The hissing noise by the way is usually the air pressure equalising between cabinet and outside after closing the door.
Could be the fan sensor too as they don’t usually start the fan up until the sensor which is on the evaporator is around -12c.
I have a miele upright and can distinctly hear the fan slow down as the door opens.spimps
ParticipantRe: weak cooling – Miele tall freezer
If everything is running ie fan and compressor then it would likely be a system fault if it’s not getting down to temp.
When opening door you can usually hear fan shutting down.
Is the compressor/motor very hot to the touch, and running constantly if it is another possibility is a slight refrigerant leak which could show these symptoms also maybe compressor could be faulty.
It would need an engineer with the appropriate equipment to correctly diagnose the fault.spimps
ParticipantRe: weak cooling – Miele tall freezer
If there is any sign of frost on the inner back panel if so you could have a an ice build up on the evaporate blocking the air circulation.
Empty and turn off for 48 hours with door open to allow to clear, might be a sensor at fault so if it occurs again after a few weeks you would perhaps need an engineer.spimps
