him again
i put some more washing in and set it as before and would you beleive it- nothing just the sound of the pressure switch clicking. i looked in the condensor, and no water trickling through so i tried several times to set it to dry for 1 hour but it would`nt have it . then for some uknown reason i decided to set it to drain, after it had drained i set it to dry again and this time worked fine . water trickling in and the element heating up and the fan spinning!whats going on? 😕

ParticipantRe: zanussi zwd147s tub seal seems an odd one
cheers mate i`ll check that as well
the washer works fine on washing and spinning its just the this problems i`m having with the drying thats doing my head in!
it was vibrating quite bad and there was a small leak of watercoming from the door so i screwed the back feet all the way in an and raised the front ones a bit. that seemed to do the trick,no leaks and hardly any vibration , even on 1400 rpm! 🙂stryder

just out of interest, how high should the water level in the condensor be ?stryder

hi all
the dryer is still giving me problems.
i put clothes in and set it to cotton and then set the time for maximum length. it goes right through the cycle without any probs but when open the door you are met buy a ton of hot steam and although the clothes are hot theyre still damp cos of all the steam in the tub. its as if the steam is just staying in the tub instead of going to the condensor .
anyone got any ideas whats causing this? 😕stryder
ParticipantRe: still farting about with the zwd1471s

hi gandh1
i know a little bit about electronics it was the negatve bit that puzzled me but i still don`t have a clue about the “co-efficient” bit. i thought that was a maths term and i `ve always had trouble with that 🙂stryder

Why do you want to change it?
It doesn’t appear to be in the shop@ but the part number is 3792171021. An e-mail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk may be in order. 😉

hi ladom i wanted to change it cos i thought i might have damaged it if i`d got the wires the wrong way round but i`ve since been told that it it doesn`t matter which way round they`re connected so i don`t need one now ,simples 🙂
