More ducts, hoses and stats than you can shake a stick at plus a seperate heater box with built-in NTC…blimey. It’s just got to be a Gorenje? Sad

If you can’t read that wiring diagram, I would strongly recommend you call somebody that can.

ParticipantRe: You want to charge me HOW MUCH!
Fitted a door boot to a Siemens integrated washer today. After I’d finished, during conversation she said that was cheaper that the other guy quoted me over the phone.
I asked her “how much” apparently he said £200, when she said it was integrated, he replied “in that case you’re looking at £250” 😯

After two minutes of float s/w being made, m/c cuts heater off therefore no more condensed water.

Not really a DIY job I’m affraid. Major and complete strip down of the m/c is required to replace the heater.
Even engineers have been known to run from this job 😉

ParticipantRe: Siemens Hydro sensor, usual problem, no idea what to do
Have you got good ciculating pressure ?.
There is a safety s/w on the heater, if the pressure is too low to make the s/w, then you’ll get no heat. Obviously, check the s/w is making and breaking. If it is, it’s possible there is something obstructing the circ pump.
Another possibilty is that the stat/NTC on the top of the heater box is faulty.
Power off please if you’re going in :zap:

ParticipantRe: Bosch SMI 2022 – wiring problem/replacement?
Part could well even be NLA (no longer available).
Or it may come as a “universal” loom… this is even worse to fit as colours don’t always match and the number of wires will be different.
Used to fit a few years ago, but not now thankfully 8)
