new logic on pcb is timed fill for wash instead of relying on reed s/w

Are you sure it’s not just the outlet pump running?
Base may be flooded and activated flood s/w.
Get some old towels behind m/c and tip it back to about 45 degrees.If water pours out you have an internal leak and will probably require an engineer.

How do you mean not heating properly?.
Does it cut out after a few minutes?.Or is it just not drawing current at all?.

We don’t solder these joints as a permanent repair because if there are any problems we are in the sh1t with our gaffers.
As Boschman/BSHman said this board is virtually an antique now and most of the time some sort of goodwill would be given.

Is there plenty ventilation at the back of the appliance.
If not motor has probably cut out on thermals.

Time of year for ambient temp problems.

Don’t use rinse aid and 3 in 1 tabs together.
Overdose of rinse aid.

Usually grease that hasn’t been cleaned off the door glass.Just creates a hot spot.

It comes on at half power to warm the stat up in the fridge if the ambient temp in the room drops below a certain temp.
It will tell you in the instruction book what this temp is.
The reason being that there is no stat in the freezer,appliance just runs on the fridge stat.So if the ambient is low the air sensor brings the lamp on half power,to stop freezer defrosting.
There is no fault with the unit.

Easier to apply a little heat from blow lamp,rather than drilling.
