Wouldn’t use 3-in-1 tabs full stop.
Much better wash results using seperate powder, salt and rinse aid IMHO.

Agree with Greg, that is a lovely fault.
Definately give it a blst with megger aswell. Fault display on this model is displayed via the wash led’s (yellow) being on constant and the dry led’s (red) flashing.
If I recall the selector s/w 058797 was prone to failure after time, but going by your description does sound like power module problem expensive at £153.

I assume you mean the AIR channel was freezing up if the fridge temp was rising.
This is a completely different problem to the original post. Ice in the base of the freezer stopping the bottom drawer coming out can ONLY be caused by defrosted water not running away down DRAIN channel. This problem will not affect the fridge temp.
P.S. The amount of these units that don’t go wrong far outnumber those that do.

Only been to two or three WIQ’s since they came out.
Everyone has been user error rather than fault with m/c. Ten year guarantee says it all.

Almost certainly the freezer drain channel has blocked/frozen over. Thus when freezer defrosts insted of water running to top of compressor for evapoation, it flows into the freezer.
Turn appliance off for for 24 hours and allow to defrost completely. Then pull plug out and pull f/f forward. You will see a hose running from bottom of freezer to tray on top of motor. Before removing this put a towel over the fan, then remove and degunk hose.
Problem solved. 😉
P.S. the Bosch F/F fault with the thermistor is on the cheaper KGV range yours is the superior KGU.

Was leaning towards the lcd TBH. Now just have to decide on a make and model. Loads of wading through specs etc on t’internet for me now.
