    Re: vax

We gave up being Vax agents earlier this year, for exactly the same Gripe. There where never any spares available, which always resulted in grief from the customer.

Re: Ok I give up. Dyson DC04

I’ve always used a very small flat blade screwdriver, if you gently push it down the side of the button nearest the handle, then pull the button up with your fingers it should pop straight off.Only ever had to replace a couple of buttons when I first started doing them.

    Re: panasonic microwave NN551C

I’ve been thinking that for ages. These new inverter microwaves are c**p in my opinion. We are panasonic service agents and I would say 75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the repairs done involve replacing magnetron and inverter, and as far as chargeable repairs are concerned, the trade account price for an inverter is a staggering £70.50 +vat+magnetron+labour. Not very cost effective!! Bring back h/v transformers and capacitors.

    Re: LG microwave light-bulb replacement?

I’m afraid that on these microwaves, 9 times out of ten you have to remove the outer cover to gain access to the lamp.Unfortunately this is not replaceable by the customer, and should be replaced by an engineer.
    Sorry.

I’ve repaired quite a few. You could try running it without the filters and see if it still cuts out, if it does I would certainly say the cyclone needs replacing.
