    Re: More New Faulty Elements

I’ve tried that a few times, but on some occasions once the element has cooled back down you are back to square one! 😕 element failing on megga.

    Re: Panasonic NNT535 Microwave

    Hi Ade,
the rectangular piece is the waveguide cover, and should not be removed. The noise you can hear when the microwave has finished is the cooling fan motor, and is perfectly normal to keep running for a period when the cooking time has finished. It can run for approx 10 seconds to a couple of minutes, depending on how long the microwave has been cooking for.
    Hope that helps.

Re: Electrolux Fan Oven Not heating.

    Hello Ben,
there is an element that sits around the fan, which is the most probable cause of fault. You can follow the link to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for price and availability.

CPC used to do the odd spare for matsui, may be worth a try if you already haven’t.

💡 If I remember correctly, you have to remove the right hand side panel( looking from the front of the cooker).

Is it the small metal gear that sits Just inside the planet hub? if so I might have one that I have stripped out of an old machine that you can have.
Let me know and i’ll have a look.

It’s mainly the kids that use it for burgers and ready meals(typical healthy diet), Which is why I’m dubious when they say they are not slamming the door.

    Re: sharp microwave

I’m afraid you will need a new dipslay, general cost £65-70 plus labour. This will have to be done by a qualified engineer.
As it’s only 18 months old, it may well be worth contacting Sharp, as they may well be able to help.

    Re: Neff fan oven elements

I have had the same with Neff elements. studs, no studs it doesn’t really seem to make any difference, I started fitting genuine elements because i started to think maybe the patterned ones were of inferior quality. That was an expensive mistake!. We have about half a dozen customers that we always seem to end up going back to within a year because the element has failed, yet most of them seem to carry on going.
Haven’t heard about this back panel mod though.

    Re: panosonic microwave

The cost of the inverter is approx £70 plus vat trade. You will almost definately need to change the magnetron as well, approx 55 plus vat.
    Hope that helps.
