    We used to get our parts from GTA tel no.01159414436 don’t know if they could help you ,if you haven’t already tried them. The vax equivalent model is AVC1 and the part no. is 1-5-124880-00.

    🙂 They are a bit of a pig to dismantle, and as for getting spares don’t even go there.I have just told vax we are not being service agents anymore, because I am fed up of waiting months for spares!!!!(even belts and brushrollers).

    Thanks Dave, it is a machine that one of our other engineers has been to, so I can’t be certain what make it is.

    🙄 I’ve repaired quite a few of the vax, which are pretty much the same, and have had a bad connection in the 2 wires that go to the small pcb in the head unit. They normally break where the wire comes through into the head assy.

    😆 I’m just re sealing an oven door at the moment. The sealant I use is from kitchen economy(part no.WA1005).I’ve been using this for a while and it works great!.
