other stat is ok.. I see now there are 2 cut in stats for main and top oven to work fan must of been getting a feed to make grill work.. weird thing is it’s all started working again now.. may be top oven selector playing up?

I’ve had a few dryers set fire to the lint.. one in a garage fortunately because the smoke was incredible..lint kept smouldering for ages.. strange thing was.. they still got me to repair it.. new element and bearing kit..look out around 3 carrier bags of fluff from inside

I had exactly the same problem all checked ok tried PCb no better.. did start working intermittent but customer ended up buying new dryer.. so really I’m no help at all sorry

you would think if the machine is on and trying to drain if the the pressure switch is disconnected then it wouldn’t know the difference between draining and pressure switch being disconnected .. if that makes sense

hi if it’s gone as far as mid rinse it could be a slow draining .problem . have you checked the filter and drain pipe end if it goes into a sink waste?

just laughing at all these so true.. had customer start cleaning the sides n top of dryer while I’m working on it today .. then going around the top lip with damp cloth while its live and I’m trying to test it.. stupid..

I’ve had this before ..I once had to do the reset procedure 6 times before it worked .. ie adding water manually ..one was a hotpoint job.. tried everything including new pressure switch.. very frustrating
