    Martin: good, humorous advert 😆

I wish i could get away with not putting no call out charge though.

I am very curious as to what will happen as from next week, its just a matter of sitting and waiting.

    martin check your pm’s.

    Re: Yellow Pages Ad

My Ad starts with DU… 😥

Its Purple with a pic of a washer. but what ive done is put “all areas covered” and “same day service”

Damn its true what you say about the cowbouys though, they have milllions of ……’s and 0000’s.

Do you know how long it takes before the 1st lot of calls come in roughly? Or is is a case of how long is the string?

    Re: Yellow Pages Ad

Cheers for the reply Dave 😀

Nah i haven’t got free estimates. But I have put free call out charge (reluctantly) because EVERY single advert in there has it. I advertise in the local paper and when the phone rings i explain that there is no charge for simply knocking the door but any labour will be chargeable. They are usually OK with this.

This is a massive problem in Wolves where everyone wants to advertise free callout charge and free estimates. Whats next? “Free Labour?”

    Re: LG Toploader WFT1031TP

    Cheers guys,

I forgot to mention that i tested the Ball-sensor and was a semiconductor (cant remember if it were a Diode or a resistor) in it that was reading peculiar.

    A ball-sensor has been ordered!

    Cheers matez.

    P.S. i wish LG teccies were a bit more on-the-ball/brighter/less patronising! 🙄

    Zanussi Jetsystem Washer Dryers

I think any zanussi can be a pig….

but the one that gets my vote is the Vogue 1 snotpoint washer dryers.. wires break. condensers fall off the back. get blocked easily. drums are hassle to replace. the old hotpoint GDA motors are rubbish too.

And oh, yes. the WMA. This beauty finished the reputation of Hotpoint.
Nearly EVERY single part to this machine was naff. even better still, when they had the bearing failure problem, word round the campfire was that the guys at Design & Development were designing a WMA Washer-Dryer!!!!! hahaha funny. 😳

    technical assistance

What technical assistance? their technical assistance is really really cr@p. they don’t know what theyre talking about most of the time and WHY oh WHY have i:

    a) been delivered 2 outer containers for the same job
    b) been delivered a soap drawer for a job that i ordered a soap dispenser?

ISDAL did well to put up with this, i wasnt aware it had been going on for so long though.

And im not going to mention a certain lady manager who is at LG either….. 👿
