Re: Beko Washing Machines – Intermittent lack of Spin

    Thanks Seamy,

I have narrowed a few down to Out-Of-Balance spin, many customers do not accept this. Despite me finding it over or under loaded.

Will look at your other solutions.

    Again, thank you.

Re: Fisher & Paykal Dish Drawer Fault Code

    Thanks for all your help.

Spent hours trying to try and resolve this one. Ended up changing the module again, still not working. Also tried the module from the bottom drawer and no result. But then when the module was put back in the bottom drawer, a different error came on that drawer.

So in the end it was binned.

Just thought I would give an update.

    can you clarify:

    a) if you draw water through the fountain, the ice maker fills as well?

    b) when the icemaker is filling, water also comes out of the fountain (ie this will obviously happen even if no one is operating anything or even around at the time, they just find a pool of water on the floor that has run down from the fountain/dispenser?

    c) both of the above.

    C Both of the above

I have tried a new board and the same thing happens when it is fitted.

    Thanks for your replies.

Thanks, might have to try a valve. But if they are getting 240v at both sets of cables?

    They will both open!

    Regards Andy

It seems that to both solenoid valve there is 17-125volts, even when not in use.

When you or the ice maker requests ice, the water goes to both the water tap and the ice maker at the same time.

    So not crossed wires.

If so then the noise could be the remains of the splines slipping on the shaft (unless it is a completely different noise that you are talking about), the way to test if it is slipping is to hold the drum and try rotating the rotor – if it moves then the splines have gone.

I may be barking up completely the wrong tree but thought that I would throw the idea in there for you.

I am thinking it could be the rotor (if it is very very tight, it seems to work for a while)

    Thank You

Re: Fisher & Paykal Dish Drawer Fault Code

Thanks john, your help is very much appreciated.

I have ordered another module. See what happens when I get back. I was going to swap the board whilst on-site. But had spent a lot of time trying to get it right and the customer was wanting to go out.

    Thanks once again.

Hope I can return the favour some time.

    Trev.

Re: LG washing machine Rotors & Stators + Hall Sensor

    Still having troubles.

The machine has had a new Stator and a New PCB.

Did one whole wash and at teh last minute made the dreaded noise.

Tried a spin cycle and it then came up with LE.

Took back off, tightened rotor. Put on a Spin only (15 mimutes). It wnt to 10 minutes. Puts water in, drains water out then stalls.

    Any Suggestions?
