he couldnt of imspected it properly for wear, that is the tumble dryer. you would see if it was worn or not before putting it back. if it wasnt worrn, why did it collapse a few weeks later?
regading the washing machine, issue a bit confusing here cos someone else posted up on this thread about a washer.

saying that, i was on this website yesterday spending my time regarding concerns of some young one not getting paid, and after spending my time was thanked with the name ****head.

you ask for opinions, so i will give you mine.
if its for £34.50 you are claiming, dont bother.
youve mad a profit, better than it costing you in parts.
to claim at the county court, you can do it yourslef with an n1 form.
but, tbh, there is alot of paperwork involved, and to file a claim ie to fill in the form and the court to process it, it will cost you approx £96.
there are further costs therafter, ie bailfs calls, approx £15 each time.
also, there is no gaurantee you will get your money.
the court consideres the customers financial circumstances etc.
for expample, if the are on low income, benefits or pension etc, you will not get it.
if your extremely lucky, after alot of epxpense, you may get an order for the customer to pay £2.0 per week for the next so many years.
tbh, county courts are a waste of time.
if you want to know how to get your money, its simple;
go round to the house and tell them if you dont get the money yer windows will go out.
two things will happen; she will either pay
or you will have the police involved.if you do get the police involved, you get the case to a criminal court and not a civil court.
then you can name and shame the non payer, cos it will go in the local paper and she may not want to be named and shamed as a nonpayer (some people are upperty about these sort of things), so she may just give you the money before it goes to court and drop the case.
if she doesnt drop the case, you spend time and money going to police station on bail, possibly prior to tht being arrested and locked up for 6 hours.
but, if it is your first ever trouble with the law, the police will only caution you. if this is the case, i would go for the brick through the window threat, theres more chance to get your money and when other customebrs hear your reputation, you will get fewer people refusing to pay you.
if you dont like the idea of pushing it up a notch into a criminal matter, then cut your losses, honestly, been there done that.
for £34-0 not worth it.maybe another optioi; write a letter to the customer in affect to make the customer return to you again, and if you get another job there, just add the £34 plus interest on the next job with her.

when you have been bullied all your life by individuals at school, then the system, you learn to stand on your own two feet and trust no one but yourself, you learn to make your own decisions, you learn to make your own judgements.

i pm ed the original poster and suggested;approach the employer and ask; why am i getting my wages late
(ask and ye shall have)two answers;
honest one; im struggling financially; solutionl find another job
dishonest answer; taking the biscuit; stand up to your employer, and trust your senses.thats what i would do; you dont need a degree in rocket science or any other subject to do that.
basics; simple.
i am closing down now, havent won the lottery, so may have to do some work tomorrow, i will see how i feel
