i am sure you have a faulty motor/brushes
make sure you disconnect from mains befor checking any futhertwinspark

the mod kit they were fitting still had same elemnts used in production>
the two i have done ice up in a few weeks
and i did mean new modual
Also i dont know what kit they would have supplied your engineer but there is a chance they could be wrong.
did he leave you any old parts, packaging??twinspark

the heater fitting kit they supplie there engineers are the same as the factory fitted ones. hotpoint realised the middle of september. both i have fitted still have the same fault, nad moduals have been n.stock for sometime 😀
