I liked the Comet days of driving in and having a brew with all the other guys and a bit of banter every morning… I left Comet years ago for what was Merloni Indesit (Pre Hotpoint merge). I absolutely hated my home becoming an office / Stores!
At one point, I had the area manager to my house to show him my garage… It was chocka from front to back with Merloni spares!!! Got to admit, it was that that was one of the main factors in me deciding to jack it and go solo!
I suspect that if the Comet guys have to work from home essentially, that’ll encourage some people to go solo too! So can’t be a bad thing a?! As this trade needs more self employed blood!

Maybe drop the ID Card line until they can actually be done?
Also, why not include a line, like saying something like “Please find attached the WTA Constitution or sumit like that just to give people an insight that aren’t regular web users?

Or give agents the option? Email including job number, model & Serial etc… Would defo cut incoming calls if even just by a bit, and is fully traceable 🙂
Re: WTA Council Meeting January 2011
Apologies… I’m unable to attend due to an engineer calling in sick for the rest of the week.
Normally wouldn’t be a major issue, but as the last week of the month, I need to go out in the mornings or afternoons to make sure all our open jobs with parts on are completed and Invoiced.
I’ll obviously be available via telephone should anyone need or want my input on anything.
