Is he b0llocks! The guy is a complete tit that wont listen to nothing. I actually feel for him reading his posts, he’s obviously been hurt in this trade at some point, and is lashing out at as Ken said, to the only body with a public medium in which to do so.
Personally, I’d say bare with him, don’t dismiss him, he’s a tit with what he posts, granted, but he’s one of us! So my input in to this is get him to Coventry in Feb, find a corner and really have it out face to face. The WTA is no Cartel, and after any decent debate face to face, he’ll only have one option, and that is to back the fu*k off!

If there is more, IMO, it should be killed. Right there! A very polite post saying along the lines of this thread is not for a discussion on the WTA’s involvement in the OFT investigation, if you’d like more information, or any questions answered, please email blah blah blah or call blah blah blah… The last thing we want is the thread to continue and run the risk of any unwanted public debate going on…?!

Read, twice…
Loving some of the points made, very well put, can’t think of anything else to add apart from ‘Indies Comments’… I think what you’ve prepared, is a fine starter, main course and desert from the menu… ‘In ya face’!

BlockedRe: Skills Academy
Is this something that’s in ‘Idea’ stage, or something partially motioned between DASA & G Dixon Training?
Any cert of competence, or at least proving someone knows the theory can’t be a bad thing I guess

I’ve had a read, I’m all for whatever the WTA can offer, but only if our name is included π
So far, the feedback or things I’ve gathered from different conversations, from different venues, is that the WTA are all for supporting DASA, but Visa Versa seems to be a bugger off feeling!
I might be wrong though :rolls:

DrDill wrote:I wonder how many of these “engineers” are members of trade assosiations? Or am i the odd one out?
Ahh! DrDill and his hatred for TA’s appears again!
DrDill, let me clarify…
1. WTA Members are bonafide! They are respectable members of our trade.
2. If you know of any WTA member that steals from customers, or does not work safely OR to the WTA COP, please email me adrian.welke@whitegoodstradeassociaion.org and I’ll investigate.
Trade Associations bring out the best in the game DrDill, AFTER finding the d1ckheads that might work to a poor or low standard and weeding them out!
Whether it be the WTA or DASA, do NOT assume that all wrong malpractices are committed by TA Members. The relevant TA will have measures in place, to ensure things like that doesn’t happen, and if it did, again, the relevant TA would have procedures to deal with it.
Adrian.
