One reply to Alex’s post:
I got a phone call back from Stephanie Tamburro today on this subject and she has assured me that the DSGi contract is safe and will continue. She has also passed on to me Bernard is working on some new contracts at the moment so we will have to wait and see what comes to pass.
Stephanie ask if we have any question please contact her and she will call you back . I can only speak for my self but Stephanie Tamburro said she would call me back and she did, so Stephanie thankyou for your reply and I will speak to you again.
Some people are fukking easily pleased a!

Agreed Alex. I don’t understand the silence. I’m sure Repaircare management can understand, that us agents have got a tad confused after agreeing to work with a rate cut, with Repaircare, as stated to keep the DSGi work… But then work goes elsewhere…?
I don’t get it, I’d be a bit angry (To put it mildly) if I were senior management at Repaircare, who had upset my network, just to see more ‘Attractive’ work volume go elsewhere within weeks.
Something isn’t right somewhere 🙁

BlockedRe: Samsung RL33SBNS – Fridge not cooling, freezer fine
Hi Clare,
Almost certainly a defrost problem, that would explain why it worked for a while after being defrosted. There is a heater on the evaporator that melts the ice build up at intervals. If the ice doesn’t melt away, the build up gets more & more untill eventually the air cannot reach the fridge.
A simple meter test on the heater (Probably will need an engineer visit) will determin if it’s at fault or not…
Not a solution for you, but hopefully some understanding there…
Adrian 🙂

BlockedRe: Rate reduction issues
Hi Ian…
That would be like an Uber prize to get a DSG representative there 🙂 So I hope you pull it off!
But regarding the RC Rate cut thread, that is for us RC agents to have a pop! Most of the people posting, wont be at the meeting, although efforts are in place to get the word to as many RC agents as possible to try maximise RC agent attendees.
In a way, and please correct me if I’m wrong, the more public the theories, the more a DSG rep would be likely to attend or at least reply?
Ade 🙂

Denied to who? Us lot? Us ‘Mere’ repairers? Us that actually front their customers day in day out? Us that represent their name & the brands they sell? Us that invest money into vans & staff etc for the priviledge to do all this? Hmmmm…
I’m just a guy from Cardiff… I have absolutely no idea what goes on in Boardrooms / Indians or wherever these talks take place, but I do know one thing…
If MY organisation was being beaten left right & center, I wouldn’t be able to sleep untill the facts were put right! Well, unless I didn’t give a sh1t that is!

BlockedRe: Do company’s really take on newbies
Hi Shaun,
‘Personally’, I would prefer to train someone, as each company works slightly differently, so although you can get experience with trained engineers, you can also inherit some bad habits!
If I were in your position, I’d keep knocking doors, don’t undersell yourself, but at the same time, be honest about what experience you have and I’m sure someone will be happy to employ you!
As for going Self Employed, I’d definately recommend you have some experience in the trade first… Lots of hidden suprises awaits for new self employed engineers 😉
Let us know how you get on…
Adrian 🙂

BlockedRe: sept 2010 meeting
That would be good! As CDSL kinda make out DSG are the villains, when in actual fact, that’s pollony!
That would worry some RC Management if DSG management did attend, I think they might sing off a different hym sheet!

Think that is what we’re all wondering!
