    Re: RepairCare Rate reduction issues

I’d LOVE to be ringmaster here! I’d ‘flippin’ love to be, but cant 🙁 Can’t afford to lose the work, that would be 3 people out of work 🙁

Is the next step an email to WTA members? See how many are RC agents? Then contact DASA and pair up?

    Re: RepairCare Rate reduction issues

Yeah, Mark Reilly brought it down personally! He sat at my desk with head in hand, apologising, saying how much of it was a shock etc to them as they only knew last Thursday, he was shitting TBH as had to see another 29 agents in 2 days!

Mark Reilly is pretty cool, I like him, I know he’s RC blood, but he’s been awesome with fighting D.Parker for stuff I’ve asked for like Source Owns etc, he even took a stock list away last year and got D.Parker to agree to me using own parts for a quicker fix rather than have to order stuff I had on the shelf! So I believe him, I don’t think regional managers knew about this untill last week…

This is a shirt n tie job, agreed around a curry house table, probably paid for by us!

I’m fo oking fuming. They are now the worst payers, but highest expectants in the trade… Tempted to stick head up for shooting, but cant 🙁

It is part of the new agreement, accept the new DSG rates to get the other RC work, which to me is like 60{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}…

So is that not, shut up or………….?!

kwatt wrote:So my question is simply, is this for real or is it just a ploy to get the rates down and improve DSG’s bottom line?

    Hmm! My thoughts exactly!

Anyways, have we enough RC members to team up with DASA over this? I’m not a happy bunny right now and half tempted to say flip it! I’ll flip it all off and turn back to me & a van, 6 jobs a day from decent paying people and flip the rest!

Have had a nice lifestyle from this trade for the past few years, am thinking now, flip it!

Does the WTA need a full time Manager? Because I think I’m soon to blow, and when I do, I think RC will be binning my backside! Because they wont like what I say, if I do, in their forums! Think it may be there for like 2mins before being deleted tho!

Me too! ISDAL still pay £45 for DSG call, I have a theory why this has happened and don’t want to put it into words if you get me!

What I will say is an Invoice from ISDAL to DSG for a stat to a Frigidaire has to be what? £45 + £3 for the stat MINIMUM as that is what they pay us, they have their mark up on that also, CDSL invoice would be £40 + £22 for the stat, PLUS their mark up…! So, is it labour or spare pricing they need to cut???

Funny thing is, the one that pays the least amount of labour, is the one that is MORE expencive for the repair!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr… Barrie mate, I’m flippin (< Would have said another word but it would have been sencored) tamping!

Hence my post on RC forum about how they charge DSG!

Saying that, are you both meeting Steve for the Qualtex thing? I could ‘Piggy back’ onto that for the evening, and leave before you meet Qualtex?

If we went for VC, could have a bash this weekend? If sucssesfull, happy days, if turns impossible & no good, look at options then?

Yeah I know what you say about the Saturday K, my main concern was your 6hr drive home leaving at 4PM!

What if you looked at flying to Birmingham on the Thursday ILO driving, that way, if there was an adequate flight Saturday, say 5PM ish, at least you’d be home at a reasonable hour? And wouldn’t have to worry about the fuzzy head 🙂

Either that, or we wait for Lawrence opinion, maybe (Reluctantly), give up a Sunday and meet somewhere suitable for all? Like a ‘Day return trip’? But that involves time & expence when we’re meeting in September anyway…?! Dilemmas a! Maybe this is why DASA dropped it?!

Hoops are starting to show now 😉

    Re: COP Draft

    Yeah 🙁

Basically, EVERY section must be answered in depth, who’s, whens, whys, everything. For instance,

1a – Code sponser should have a significant influence on the sector.

    Answer: Green. because …………………………………….

    Evidence ………………………………………….
Basically, every question, needs a full, in depth reponce. So a lot more to do than just reply ‘Green’, next…!

🙁 I’m chocka untill replace Scott too for weekdays in the near future, so maybe we sit on it for 2 months, and either get to Sept meeting early Thursday to get through it by the time people arrive, or stay behind on the Sat?

Or if we need to do this before then, maybe give up a Sat or Sunday 🙁

I’m easy, but do need help with this write up, as the detail is too deep for my present knowledge 🙁

    Okay

Spoken with OFT, I think another meeting for me, Ken & Lawrence might be needed with 1x Laptop and a genius with Excel 🙁

The Gap Analysis needs to be a proper and formal reply, going in depth to each section. The only notes I have from the last WTA meeting do not go into depth about anything 🙁

Either that, or we say, it’s only 2 Months ish untill September meeting, maybe the 3 of us could stay back on the Saturday to do it? I’d guess 3/4 hrs should do it? But we need to leave with the doc written and saved, so it can be sent into Kate.

Yeah the Inspector left me his card, said if we want to know more, just call him 🙂

Apparently, this is all kicking off within the next 2 Months 🙂

I’ll email you the guys details when in office tomorrow, glad you want to persue it as this needs a more ‘experienced’ and ‘knowledged’ person to deal with 🙂

Regarding sound equiptment, and / or anyother equiptment really, I have no issue with WTA paying for it.

    Also agree with Chris’s fuel.

And Bry, please DONT get a bar upstairs, that’ll be a disaster 🙁
Will make people (I cant spell this but I’ll have a go) Clostraphobic? We’ll just take over the bar as normal 🙂

Can we have buffet lunch ILO a sit down meal? We were all split up last time at the resteraunt.
