    Re: COP Draft

Lots gone on in the past few weeks, lost my face, internet at work for a week & a half, phones for a few days (All BT fault issues, now resolved), lost Scott my office buddy, so things have been to put it mildly, challenging and very ‘Against’ me recently!

Anyways, all’s kinda back to normal & my like has calmed down now, so just to say, I will be persuing Kate Monday morning, without fail. Just haven’t had the time to do it over the past few weeks.

Will be prompt with posting outcome 🙂

    Re: Here we go..

Just read that again! Clearly he did take it away. Damage was most likely caused by him in transit or by carrying… Anyways, Kens ‘Trade Guidelines’ come into effect here………….

If he aint a WTA member, apologies, but you’re on your own!

    Re: Here we go..

That was my 1st thought, did he take it away or was it delivered and installed. One would presume he took it as if it was delivered and installed, surely, the guy would have refused delivery?

Now this is what I mean by COP covering retaillers, it is a MINE FIELD! I suggest we stay away from this, Chris, my reply would be along the lines of……………………..

Apologies, but as the supplying dealer is not a WTA member we cant assist (As per Kens Trade guidelines)! In future… Look here for a WTA member so we can assist if anything goes tits up! www……………….

Lol! Thanks dude! Nah was a Dentist issue I swear!

And might I add, opp number 2 probably needed too! So, is there a COP for Dentists? Because I’d like to ram it up…………… Anyway, enough said 🙂

    Re: Here we go..

The problem we hit with the COP covering Retailers was MASSIVE if I remember right… I did chat with Don for a bit, but after some OFT talks, we decided it was tooooooo complex to cover retaillers too…

Can I suggest we continue the application as it is, then WHEN we have the badge, we can look to add retaillers?

Thought behind it is probably easier to get the badge then approach with a new angle, rather than get assessed on all angles?

Anyways, I’m almost back to normal now, so shall be doing the work on the GAP Analasys this week…

I need to post apologies for delay with contacting Kate and getting Bosch questionaire to Ken. I’ve had some ‘Serious’ tooth issues that have literally caused a 32yr old well built man to turn into a wimpering little boy!

My face is due back by mid next week latest, so my WTA tasks will be the first on the ‘To Do List’.

    Re: SEPTEMBER 2010 MEETING

    Uh Oh!

Lawrence has asked for thoughts… Here goes! 🙂

I make no secret in the fact that Coventry is ideal for the day, with a buffet upstairs ILO a meal for lunch, can’t beat it really, but for the evenings (and most people stay 2 nights), it’s uncomfortabe downstairs, is badly laid out & I personally can’t really ‘Relax’. I find it awkward sat there with people arriving and departing behind me.

At least with Bromsgrove, it has the SAME daytime facilities, but the evening area is much more ‘private’ if you like. There is lots of room for us at the lower bar, and also, as a smoker, spending time in the more private smoking area is 100x better than standing at the foyer! (I know smokers don’t dictate, but there are a few, and Bromsgrove have heaters outside too, so us dirty habbiters, should be considered)?!

I think we already know that the Millers is the place for the ‘informal’ engineers meetings, maybe try Bromsgrove once? Suck it & see?

BUT, saying that, if it is at Coventry, I’m still attending! So my opinion is aired, I’ll go with the flow 🙂

    Re: WTA website update

    Yeah thanks K,

    Looking good 🙂

If things like that were published more readily available to the public, we’d cut out a whole load of ‘No Faults’ and Customer V Engineer disputes!

Customers naturally believe… Warranty = ‘Not my problem there is a coin gon through tub, its under warranty’!

So not only does that piece give advice to a customer, it can also serve as a referral point to send any future complainants to if any such issue arrise with a member 🙂

Re: WTA Council Meeting May 2010

I like it, I would change:

Please do not telephone us but rather email a copy of the engineer’s report as without that we will not be able to offer any opinion on the dispute. It may also be the case that the information will have to be
presented to our Advisory Council and this service cannot be provided by phone, it can only be done when enquiries are made in writing.

    For:

If you have an enquiry regarding a repair you require warranty advice on, please email your quiery and a copy of the engineers job sheet to ************** Or post it to *************. Unfortunately, we cannot deal with these types of enquiries by telephone. For any Advisory Council review, these quiries must be in writing.

    I’d also change:

Please note that this service is only offered for WTA Registered repairers and we cannot and will not
comment on repairers that are not WTA Registered.

    To:

Unfortunately, we can only offer advice and assistance if your repairer is a WTA member due to the Code of Practice they have signed up to. If your repairer is not a WTA member, unfortunately, we are unable to assist as they are not signed up to our Code of Practice, therefore, we could only simply refer you to the Manufacturer for advice.

To view the WTA Code of Practice, please click here: *********************

^ Plug it wherever me thinks? 🙂

    Just a suggestion 🙂
