Don’t think it’s any big secret, but I’m that person that didn’t like the food 🙁 They put funny little green bits in the sausages…? And a roast dinner at 9.30 at night killed me off 🙂
But I echo all the above… Gracious Por Va Vor to Bryan & Tina for sorting it… Was good to see you lot again!

OK… Monday morning, I’m locking myself in my office for an hour to speak to the relevant person at the OFT to see EXACTLY where we are, what’s needed etc to progress so as when we sit down on Friday night to thrash out the COP stuff, I’ll be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} up to speed with the COP application.

We only take cash or cards too… Still amazes me when people go to write a cheque, even after being told we don’t accept them, then present a guarantee card “But I have a guarantee card” says customer… “Yes, it’s also a debit card” says engineer… Problem solved!
I’d rather the small fees that Merchant services charge, even if it’s just for the fact I rarely see the inside of a bank! 🙂
As for someone saying they wouldn’t bother CCJ’ing someone for £49… Why? I had a £55 charge I persisted on getting, in the end, 5 mins on the CC website, I think it was £35 I paid, summons issued to customer, payment recieved quickly of the £55 + the £35 I paid to apply for the case… Happy Days!
Only issue with Merchant sevices I have is about 6 Months ago, I had a letter referring to a payment I’d taken 8 or 9 Months prior. They were claiming the money back, apparently services not carried out or something like that, anyways, when I looked into it, a customers appliance recalled 6/7 months after we did the repair, she ‘apparently’ got another firm in to put it right (even though we give a 12 Month guarantee on repairs), and she didn’t even call us to tell us it had gone wrong again!
I gave this info to the company, they wern’t interested & customer had her money back… Was added to my Monthly statement the following month… So, if a dispute happens… Merchant services are 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} for the customer!

I’m all for still coming if it’s a little one… Some ‘quality time’ for the WTA…? Just a question, if it aint a biggie, why not have it back at the Millers, a little bit more, um, personal…? And it has a great smoking area! 🙂

I’m alone in the office next week (Tuesday, Wed & Thurs), I cannot see it being extremely busy, so if I can have the new contact details of the person at the OFT, maybe I could try speak to him & see exactly what is acceptable for monitoring the COP…?
We can then go from there…?

I have no issue getting the COP approved. I’m quite busy at the moment but fortunately, am single 😀 ! So I have evenings free (most times) that I could persue things & I can ALWAYS find time through the day to email / call or write to the OFT if needed.
If you can email me whatever correspondance you have Lawrence, that would be appreciated & also the COP! I can’t find it in my folders 🙁
I’m quite happy to take ownership of the COP, the other stuff, can be sorted between you lot…?
