Got the database up and running but it would be good if I could just type in the postcode and the software pull up the coresponding address.
Has anybody had any experience of programming this?

Sounds wicked, do you have a seperate database for your jobs or are the details stored under customers details database.
I use the PDA for Tomtom and put customers details and jobs into my Contacts with defferent catagories for complete or active jobs.
There is a plug in for contacts that opens up tomtom and navigates to the address, If you could do this with a database of jobs, that would be cool.

That’s what I was looking at but I wasn’t sure how the PDA would cope with
a large database, how many records does your spares database have?

Is the package you are using SprintDB pro by any chance?

It’s the front housing that has been damaged.
Have a go hero, poking around with his screwdriver, straight through the front of the filter housing. What a plonker.
I sometimes feel like just walking out when I see the back off, lid removed, who knows what damage someone’s done.
‘I only took the back off to see if the belt was on’

    Thanks for the diagram,
    2 x PCB’s.
I have ordered the DVD, does it contain test procedures for the PCB’s?

I have a mad idea about converting the fridge back to a mechanical defrost timer. get rid of the PCB’s, has anyone tried this?

tthe element is wired, from the rear of the cooker from left to right.

    White – live : Yellow – Live : Blue – Neutral : Blue – Neutral.

When the oven is ON the outer element switches off with the stat ok, inner element has no power.
Inner element only comes on when the dial is switched to grill.

One thing that disturbed me was that the lady who has been complaining about burning food said ‘ I always used to have the dial set to this’ she then turned the stat to 220. I should of said to her ‘why don’t you try turning the temp down a bit’.
She did have a point though, when the elements where on the outer was getting red hot and I could feel the heat was strong.

    Re: Leisure rangemaster 110

I was called out to one of these cookers,
Someone else had changed the lh oven top element but the customer was complaining that food was burning from the top.
When I visited I noticed that with the oven ON the inner element was getting red outer el cold.
I reversed the connections so outer element came on for the oven.
Three weeks later I get another call saying food is still burning from the top.
    Checked stat – ok,
    Checked base element – ok.
The replacement element looks like the correct one ( correct fixings and support bracket ).
There does seem to be a lot more heat coming from the top of the oven.
I don’t really think the wiring is wrong, it can only be the element is too powerful.
The element had pt no – 9.2035225 stamped on it, and 2?50W.
