    at least we have had good weather this week 😀 and with the budget just announced we should all be snowed under by saturday(wakes up from dreaming)thought i heard the phone ring,i think quite is an understatement,dead sounds more like it,never mind as we always say IT COULD BE WORSE 😕 😕 Ah well thats my little whinge done. 8) 8) 8)

    gas hobs must be connected to copper pipework when used above any heat producing appliance,refer to MI.HTH., 🙂

    Sounds like switch faulty to me.cannot see both elements going together HTH 🙂

    hi alan you say it will stick out from under the work top?i assume you are talking about a built in appliance then. 😕 😕

    martin i have read this thread with interest and as mentioned before i tend to agree with a electroplating theory.maybe a small current passing through the machine,the brass/copper acting as anodes? could be feasible :rolls: or i could be completely wrong 😕 😕

    Masterfix Appliance Repair Network.i registered with them for repairs on gas appliances,heard nothing since then,but as i always say nothing ventured nothing gained,their rates seem reasonable(but only if you get work from them)HTH 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

    I will do free estimates, but when i do the quote i give also incurs the call out charge,cheeky i know,but i don,t work for nothing,like everyone else here its our bread and butter. 🙂 🙂 🙂

    same boat here i,m afraid.september last year all my work stopped with one certain company,but this has given me a wake up call not to put all my eggs in one basket,once your services are no longer required these companies drop you without any hesitation,better off sourcing your own customers and building up your own reputation. 🙂 🙂
