new diffuser turned up today(fast delivery or what)now lets see if it works,by the way the old one was also made in china,if on the unfortunate off chance it still does not cure the fridge freezing up,what else should i be looking for? 8)

madmac i have had a zwf1621w for about three years now and it is on constantly, mine must be a fluke 8)

thanks again martin,just popped down to the parents and the bearings are well worn,making a right racket,cannot understand as its not realy that old,wonder if it is worth repairing or tell them to buy a new machine ❓

just ordered one off ebay £60.86 all inc lets hope that solves my problem 8)

updated my xl,have noticed it does not pick up all the speed cameras,anyone now if it only picks up active ones?my old nuvi picked them all up :rolls:

cheers mac,so this motorised baffle is the noisy fan on the top left hand side of the fridge?anybody know the part number? 8)
