Unfortunately not. i’ll place it under a large magnifying glass tomorrow and try to find the imprint of one.
If I could find the White Knight corresponding model number it would be a big help.

    Re: Siemens IQ300 E23

Thanks again Martin. I was suspicious of the doorlock, bit cheepish looking on this model, just clipped in place,no screws. However it is locking but the module is refusing to unlock it as it thinks there is water in the drum. I blew air through the small hose to the pressure chamber, no blockage, but as you say, maybe the pressure switch is acting up.

    Re: Siemens IQ300 E23

Thanks for reply. My manual said it was a blocked pump of pump relay problem.
I put 5 litres of clean water in the drum, unscrewed the drain plug and it all flowed out. So no obstruction. Removed the large black drain hose, sump is clean,as is the grey drainpipe. The small hose from the sump to the pressure switch is also free.
No other Anti-Flood device that I can see. Heater element is also ok.
After these checks still have E23.

Thanks. That may be the best way to go. Did a wash today without tripping the rcd. Fault is intermittent.

Regular moulded 13amp plug that was factory fitted to the appliance. Plugged into the same socket as the old hotpoint.

Re: Hotpoint WMA42N door light flashing…

Had actually checked the PCB in the meantime and found a burnt track corresponding with door interlock. i’m actually a dab hand at solder repair. damage is extremely slight. would repairing and fitting a new door interlock be recommended. Though machine is old in years its actually in mint condition and would be a shame to scrap. many thanks for your help.!

P.S. would it be possible to PM you IADIOM re Trade Forums. i have read and understand the terms required.

    Re: Indesit 143s (uk)

Thanks. removed paddle out of curiousity. “coin” turned out to be a bra wire which i was just about able to retrieve with a long-nosed pliers. coin removal would definately be impossible through these slots.

    Re: Indesit 143s (uk)

bearings and seal replaced without removing the drum from the machine. But definately care to be taken as edges are razor sharp. By the way, whats the best way to remove a paddle in order to take out a coin? think it would be faster than removing the sump hose.
I know some machines have a press-tab on the 3rd hole from the front, is this model similar.?

Thanks for useful acvice Scott. done as you suggested and had no problems. Blockage was at the elbow where pipe entered door seal.
No vent pipe near dispenser on this model. Machine working perfectly again.
